Good to cover your grays
This is a pretty good product to keep on hand for small areas of gray that you wish to conceal. It has 2 ways to apply it (an applicator, similar to a lip gloss applicator and then a mascara wand). I got the medium brown and it was very close to my hair color. The product is easy to apply but I find it takes several times of running it thru my hair for it to cover what I want covered. Those areas do feel stiff shortly after applying it. What I have been doing is, apply it at night and the next morning wash my hair. There has been little residue on my pillow and it takes a few washes for it to fully wash out but the stiffness is gone. I like the product but would not want to use it and then go out in public as it makes my hair look and feel stiff. Great for overnight usage!

Too much comes out at once when the bottle is mew
Too much product comes out and it looks so weird. I was looking for a thin coat to cover small strands of gray. I’m sure if I used it for longer it would be less product on the brush at once, but I found myself wiping a lot of it off.Note: I’m only about 5-10% gray. This might work better if all my roots were solid gray and I needed more product. It’s the consistency of mascara. Not very thin, like a thicker mascara.

Delivery and form factor is great, but the dye only lasts an hour or two before falling off.

Convenient application
This is the most convenient type of touch-up I’ve used. I love that it comes in a mascara-type bottle and can easily fit in your purse. It’s not as good as sprays in that it doesn’t stay on as long nor does it go on as cleanly, but since it’s easy to take on the go, it’s fine if you’re okay with planning to reapply it.

Awesome color!
I carry this stick everywhere! I can't color my hair as much as I'd like to but the stick definitely helps to hide my roots until I can!
