Great design and awesome small wall mount rack
Awesome design and well put together. Replaced my star tech wall mount to get more space for the $$. Very happy and will use it again!

Well built shelf
Easy to install switch and other hardware to. The quality of the metal is good and does not seem like it will be easily damaged. Very good value for the cost

Works well and really affordable - HOME SERVER RACK!
Works well! I will say the wall mounting screws are a little weak, I tried screwing them into 2x4's, and they straight up snapped, not even snapped. They crumbled? I was going slow enough not to strip them and to make sure they were straight, I had that happen with two screws. So I ended up having to move my rack slightly below the screws that snapped and got stuck in the 2x4s. I used some other screws I had lying around that were way more sturdy and had no issues. Really easy and straightforward to install. Once received, you unfold it. Kind of opens like a book. Then, we just need to add the mounting hardware to be able to mount switches, shelves and other things in the squares. Be careful. While trying to install the mounting hardware for the devices, I had my hand slip and cut myself on the metal clips. Nothing major, but there has got to be a better way to add the hardware. I also bought another Tecmojo Shelf piece, and I installed it at the bottom of this rack to be able to put routers, modems, and smaller switches. Together, it works really well! Overall really good for the price just needs better screws and mounting hardware for the holes.

Rack is good. Screws are junk.
The good: The rack is good quality and easy to put together. Is a 6U rack.If you plan on using the included screws for mounting, plan to replace them. The heads popped off 4/5 of them tightening by hand with a pilot hole drilled.

4U Wall Mount, OR 7U Under Desk Mount
The media could not be loaded. This 4U rack comes fully assembled, with the needed mounting hardware. I always wear gloves for unboxing and set up, as there are usually metal manufacturing bits that have not been fully cleaned off from the factory.Wipe off rack hardware like this with a cleaning wipe, before touching it with bare hands. You may want to also use other M5 mounting screws, depending on how easy you want to make the install. This rack definitely needs to be mounted to a plywood backing board or other solid wood, instead of directly onto drywall or sheetrock. You may need to paint the backing board with fireproof paint to meet your local NEC building codes, depending on where you are installing this. Modern grounding requirements may also be needed in those situations, where you need to meet the 2020 or 2023 NEC codes. This is a very functional solution to mount in a residential or office network setup though. If you are planning on mounting this in an office, check that you do not need a larger floor standing rack. As you are very close to the other half rack size with this rack. All networking hardware should be mounted in the same network rack in an office or home. I would not mount battery backups in these racks, as those can get very heavy if you are filling the rack with other network hardware.Server hardware should go into a different heavier rack. Servers are too heavy for this, and should be secured properly in a half rack or full rack that meets those type of weight requirements. This rack can be good for upgrading an older network to a more modern setup. A patch panel with a switch, firewall, and non surge power strip will fill up the 4U space perfectly. So this is certainly a good rack size for the price.Network hardware is ideally locked behind a door, but functionally that is not always possible. But with a rack like this, you can at least get some airflow to your hardware in a tight install location. Instead of having a pile of network devices overheating on the floor or a table. This rack would also work pretty well mounted under a desk, or on the floor, in an audio recording studio. It could hold a rack mount tuner and other audio rack equipment that may be needed. With the 7U space available when installed like that, this rack is very versatile. You may want to use the a cage nut removal tool, rather than a flathead screwdriver, when rearranging the square rack nuts, to save poking your hands.
