Great product, take it for hair and nails.

I DONT EVEN REMEMBER WHAT PROMPTED ME TO BUY THIS MANY YEARS AGO. I TAKE IT EVERYDAY- HAVE BEEN FOR 10 YEARS. I HONESTLY BELIEVE IT IS A STAPLE TO MY MENTAL HEALTH. I DONT KNOW WHY OR HOW, BUT IF I DONT TAKE IT, I WAKE UP WITH ANXIETY (I AM PRONE TO IT) AND KINDA IN A BAD MOOD. THIS HAS BEEN A LIFE SAVER FOR ME, NO SIDE EFFECTS AT ALL, I TAKE ONE EVERY AFTERNOON. I ALWAYS KEEP 3 OR 4 BOTTLES IN MY PANTRY, I DONT EVER WANT TO RUN OUT OF THIS STUFF.

My mother use to take this in the granular form for her finger nails. When my nails started pealing, I remembered her telling me why she took it. I thought maybe it would help. I still have no idea why my nails started pealing but they are slowly getting better. When I found the tablets, I was thrilled. They are large tablets but so much easier to take than the alternative.The only reason I gave a 4 star is because of the slowness in shipping.

Product has been discontinued by manufacturer but still shows available by amazon? WHY?

I used to use a different brand- they were powder in a capsule. Those were amazing, but unfortunately no longer available. I began to use these…and I’m not sure if they are doing a whole lot.I have taken gelatin specifically for my skin. I have had various skin issues-which the previous mentioned brand didn’t fix- BUT when I would take them, I could see a definite improvement in my wrinkles. If I missed a day or two, I would look like I aged years. These currently- not so sure. I’ve started using other skin care products I like better, but still not as good as it was. Could that be because I have obviously aged in general since my last use of the others? Maybe. I’m in my upper 30s where I feel like I get older in dog years…by the month. Could it also be from such a long lapse (maybe a year?) my skin’s elasticity has given up beyond repair- who knows?!I don’t use related to pain, or muscle repair/weight lifting, or any other reason- so I cannot say if those areas would have had an improvement.They are rather large so I have a difficult time swallowing…I don’t think I would have a few years ago, but this last 1-2 yra I’ve started to exhibit that hiatal hernia related issue with swallowing where many things “stick.” So if you are good at taking pills, you’ll be fine.Value is okay. Spring Valley was a better deal- but that is a moot point since I cannot find it in that brand. This seems to be one of the cheaper (in price, prob not quality) brands for the strength and amount.

Really works for nail strength

I bought this for my finger nails they were very brittle. After 1 week of use the nails were growing out very strong. I highly recommend this product.

I was advised by a nurse friend to take a product of this type, only what she recommended was sheets of gelatin that one would have to melt in a beverage. I started researching gelatin in pill form and found that in most cases one has to take multiple pills twice daily, which I had no desire to do. I found this product, began taking it and within a month my hip bursa which has been very painful for a couple of years was almost without pain. I took a 3 mile hike yesterday and it was the first hike I have been able to do for a year. I don't see any of the other described changes such as hair, nails or wrinkles after only 5 weeks but for my hip pain this was a miracle.
