Universal Tinted Moisturizer SPF 40 | Face Sunscreen | Cover Blemishes | Nicotinamide Vitamin C | 40ml

I thought that this tinted sunscreen 40 SPF would be great for spring and summer.It comes in a tube and when you open it, there is barely a discernible perfume. It does come out very fast and I was surprised at how dark it is not at all like the tint I was expecting.It was quite thin, but did not give an even coverage. It was blotchy and rather than the light tint with a radiant look, I was expecting, it looked awful and orange. I tried to even it out with a damp sponge, but it still did not look at all natural and my face did not feel moisturised but the reverse.At £8.99 it is not very expensive and possibly why it does not have the same characteristics as more expensive ones.

There were no reviews on this product when I bought it. I was disappointed to find the Avene Tinted SPF I had been using had increased in price so dramatically so I had to look for a cheaper alternative. I'm so glad I did! The coverage is great and the colour was so even. For reference, my skin is very fair so I cannot judge how it would work on other tones. Only downside is that it came out of the tube extremely quickly as it is quite thin. I had to try and suck the excess back into the tube to reduce waste! The pic was taken after wearing it (without refreshing it) for 12 hours. I did put on some powder over the top in the morning. Ordered two more to be safe!

The shade of this tinted SPF moisturiser works well on my skin tone and I am quite fair skinned. It is a thin texture and it covers evenly and smoothly and isn’t at all greasy. It gives a nice natural fresh look and is nice worn on its own and I have also worn it with powder over the top. It has a very slight fragrance.It stays looking good over the course of the day and doesn’t feel heavy. It will be ideal for Spring and Summer when you only want protection but only a light coverage of colour.I found a small amount goes a long way but you have to be careful that you don’t get more than you need as it comes out of the tube very quickly and you can end up wasting some each time you use it if you’re not careful and it’s only a 40ml tube. I received it free of charge to review as part of the Vine programme but if I had paid for it I would be happy with the purchase.
