Like most anything, you get what you pay for.
I can't stress enough of the importance of the good, quality cleaver.Whether you're using it for mechanical fiber ends or no-epoxy, no-polish, no-crimp field-installable connectors or fusion splicing, this is the cleaver you want.I can't really compare it to any other type of precision cleaver because it's the only brand that I'm familiar with. I'm sure that there are other comparable manufactures but Fujikura is the name that I trust.
