I bought this based on another review I saw of a redhead - it’s extremely hard to color match our natural color. I thought I’d try because “it can’t hurt” - I’m shocked! It went on very easy & matched my color perfectly! I only color around my face (sun gets me) and it has blended with my natural color without any noticeable difference. I didn’t wear gloves and thought it had stained my hands but after a shower both my hands and nails are completely normal. The scent isn’t bad, if you’ve used other hair color products you have smelled much worse. The product didn’t smell super chemically going on and after the shower I am not smelling anything. I’ll be curious to see how long the intense color lasts. To only need to shampoo it on dry hair and rinse is amazing! I took my photos by the window for extra good light.

I am approximately 65% gray. My natural color is an Ash brown. I did not want to use black or a very dark brown and look completely unnatural, so I chose the Coffee color. I tested it, as recommended, on an unconscious area to no obvious result. Just for clarity, I did follow instructions. I tried it again on another small portion except left on longer..nothing. I have emailed the company for advice and am waiting for their reply. I may have to try a darker version, try a different product, or simply leave it as is. I am not convinced that I actually want to color my hair again after having it naturally gray. I only took this step to appease my grandchildren.Update: After leaving the previous review I decided to just go ahead and try it on my whole head. I quickly realized that the few pumps I had used to test the areas beforehand contained none of the color. It had only been the clear gel so that is why it did not work. This time I had to pump quite a bit to get enough out to start working on my whole head. The gel was still there but the color came out with it this time. This application covered most of my gray, but not all of it, and the color that did stick is lighter than expected, which is okay. It actually looks more natural that way. I plan to do a second application to see if I can cover the gray that is left. I am not sure how closely the applications can be to one another. But over all I am pleased with the color.

I cannot believe how well this stuff works. On top of working well the color is just a little different than what is showing in the description and it actually turned out to be the perfect color that I actually wanted. Just beware that the colors are a tad off.

If you are any shade of blonde with reddish undertones you do not wish to accentuate this is not for you. I’ll be trying my purple shampoo to tone it down but is very brassy although I did love the shine and no smell really.

I don't recommend it. I tried it twice, and it is going to the trash. I got the color red, hoping it will cover grays and help me stretch the time between coloring. It smells like chlorine and dried my hair and scalp.

My first squeeze was clear. I forgot I had to shake before using. Once shaken well, I saw the difference in color. I was skeptical when I applied to my hair, but after a few minutes I saw the changes in the color. This was my first time using a color shampoo and this brand. I was amazed it covers all the grays. Not sure how many days it last but I normally washes my hair weekly. I would definitely recommend. Excellent product

It took great to my hair, covered my gray better than box dyes. Live the color
