I ordered this coat hoping for a classic, tailored winter look and while the style and material really impressed me for the price, I did have to return it for a smaller size. This coat definitely runs big. I’m usually a xl, but it fit more like an oversized xxl. If you’re looking for a more structured fit, I recommend sizing down.The coat itself is well-made with a nice weight to it, warm enough for moderate winter temps. The double-breasted front and notch lapel give it a timeless trench coat vibe, and it looks great dressed up or down.Compared to a Fleurette wool coat, this one is a great budget-friendly alternative, though you do get what you pay for in terms of tailoring and fabric. Fleurette’s wool feels a bit more refined and the fit is more precise. That said, if you’re okay with adjusting the size, the chouyatou coat is a solid, stylish option without the high-end price tag.

This coat exceeded my expectations! It is a nice medium-heavy weight coat that hits me at my knees, which is what I wanted. It is fully lined and appears to be made well. I am cold natured and was very warm in it on a 37 degree, windy day (with a long sleeve t-shirt underneath). I bought my size (L), and it fits perfectly. I probably would not wear a heavy sweater underneath, it would be a little snug. I am 5'8", 195 lbs

This is a really great coat for the price. For once, an article of clothing looks like the one that the model is wearing. The exception, for me at least, is that it looks much longer on the model than it does on me. That may just be the photo angle and, in any event, it is a good length for me (5'9" and 125 lbs), hitting about 4 or 5 inches below the knee. I ordered a medium and it is a very good fit with lots of room. The wide arms are particularly attractive. However, it does look better unbuttoned rather than closed.One thing to consider: This comes out of a shrink-wrapped plastic package and is REALLY wrinkled. You will need a good steamer (and about an hour of time) to get the wrinkles out. I hung it in the bathroom for a few days hoping that moisture would help alleviate the wrinkling at least a little, but not to be. Alternately, you could have it steamed at a dry cleaners but instructions say no dry cleaning - machine wash. Can't wait to see how that turns out! I would not recommend attempting to iron it - I believe that would ruin the fabric and probably the iron too. All in all, I really like this coat.

The coat looks great!!! Very soft and the color is amazing! I ordered blue. The price for the quality of the coat is perfect. The size is correct, I ordered L. I love this coat! I recommend buying it!!!

I ordered size Large..This is a beautiful coat. Excellent material and feels warm enough for a New York City winter. I’m a 5’3” 165lbs old girl. The shoulder seams were far below my shoulders which made the sleeves below my fingers. It was just too big. Unfortunately I had to return it. I really didn’t want to. I highly recommend the coat.

The jacket was a little big for me, so I returned it and had to wait a month before I could get it back. Too bad

The cut is just not for me. The shoulder seams drop way off the shoulders. Maybe if the fabric was of a different weight. Pretty color though. I really tried to like it. 🌷

This is a nice coat; it's exactly what I wanted. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I truly love my new coat. Good value, comfortable & soft material, size was accurate, not too bulky.
