The case is cheap but the knives are great! They feel great in the hand with good balance and all come very sharp. I personally love the axe. The case is the weakest component, but does the job and everything stores securely in it. With this kit you have everything you need to butcher your hunt.

I got this knife set. It has eight pieces and comes in a convenient carry case. The set includes a knife sharpener, a butcher knife, a gut skinner, a boring knife, an axe, a skinning knife, a bone saw, a bone seperator, and some cleaning gloves. All the knives can be stored in a carrying case, which is nice for keeping everything organized. The knives are full-tanged, and they have great handles for good handling even in wet conditions. The knives have a camo design and sharp blades but can use a few swipes on a whetstone.The knives' handles are good, but I use the butcher knife the most. The knife sharpener keeps a sharp edge after a few swipes, but I initially sharpened it on a whetstone before using it. We've used this set for outdoor carne asada and processing whole chickens for barbecues. Some friends have also used them after fishing trips. The gift box packaging is nice, making it a good gift for hunters, barbeque artists, and fishermen alike.

I was so excited when I received this hunting knife kit. I recently go into hunting and needed my first knife set. This kit definitely meets my needs. There are so many different knife options for nearly every type of game and scenario you could imagine. The steel feels nice and is of a nice thickness. The blades were all razor sharp, which was a nice surprise since a lot of knives will come only partially sharpened.My hand fits the handles well, and I wear XXL gloves, so they should fit most peoples hands. They are full tang which is nice since the scales feel a little cheap. They feel solid, but the camo pattern is only a thin laminate layer on top of some kind of composite material. I really can't complain though, considering the shear value that this kit presents given the quality of the steel and number of pieces you receive. I give it an A and think it is a solid deal.

Wanted a good blade kit to keep in the camping gear but didn't want something too pricey. This is a pretty good little kit for campong, or for use in a survival situation. You have a good assortment of blades to choose from and each of them seems to be built good and tough. The ergonomics of the handles was surprisingly good too. have no problem indexing the blades to orient the edges. Don't know if I'm going to need the bone spreader, but I guess it's nice to have. I'd recommend this happily
