Awesome build
This boat was so easy and fun to put together. The peoples clothes were a bit tricky because there were layers but it was whatever. I thought the details were awesome.

Not a bad building set
At the time of review, it's on sale for $10 and that's a fair price. The set is easy to put together and doesn't look bad. The parts fit together nicely, although some parts were a tad too tight. I also had some slight quality control issues as a couple of the parts for the cockpit were either broken or straight up missing. They didn't affect the overall appearance of the boat, but still something to consider.Recommended if you buy it on sale.

You're Gunna Need a Bigger Boat
As a massive Spielberg movie fan,and a huge brick model builder, this classic film model scratches all of those itches of model building and classic films memorabilia. It's just such a great piece. It's not too difficult to build either. At just 592 pieces it's at that sweet spot for a novice to step up to the next level of difficulty: it's not a difficult kit but it's not a tiny, simple puzzle either. The excellent instructions help make this a good puzzle as well. They're clear and concise with instructions that are easy to follow and understand. It's a great model for movie fans and model builders alike.

Nice build but with some problems
I am a big fan of Jaws and so I ordered the Tiallow City Jaws Fishing Boat brick set.The set comes in a plain box with no image of what's inside. Inside the box is the manual and numbered bags with the bricks. Each bag is small (there are 11 of them) and it is a nice design so that you only have a small number of bricks to sort per step. The bricks went together easily and, while not Lego quality, there were no deformed bricks. The manual is relatively easy to follow but, unfortunately, there are some mistakes and areas that just don't make sense. They are easy to figure out, but it is frustrating. One of the more problematic errors is when you first have to put all the loose fish and "ice" blocks into barrels and other crates but then a few pages later, have to turn the boat over to work on the bottom causing all of the loose items to fall out. There are also some parts that are loose and have to be reinstalled over and over. The end model does look like the boat from the movie. The three minifigs that are included don't look like the characters though. I will be using it for display but I don't think it would hold up to play time. For only $30, it's not a bad value, but it is a bit of a frustrating build.

Great set, inspired by another
This set clearly takes inspiration from other, but at a smaller scale. It's very cute and actually I love the scale. The instructions are mostly clear, but some steps can be a bit confusing. In the end you end up with a cute fishing boat that pairs well with another I also found on Amazon. I don't care for the figures included, but a such a low price, i'm fine with ditching them in favor of using a few fun Lego minifigs. The boat is the main draw here. It has a nice design, but has a lot of beige. Not my favorite color, but it works. It has the impression of a utility boat and will add some visual variety to my collection of nautical builds.

We tried. It doesn't float.
This is a quality set - not quite giftable, but definitely good for home/family/enthusiast use. I bought it mostly for the shark and because the name of the boat (family connection)! My kid had a good time building this set - it took a couple hours. Nothing terribly difficult or challenging, mostly a relaxing build.Solid blocks, clear instructions, and delightful final product. I like the mini-figs and especially the shark - he'll get lots of playtime in this set (and probably others). At the insistence of my kid, we tested it to see if it floats. Unsurprisingly it does not. Lol. Still, a very solid 4* flego set.
