The media could not be loaded. Braving against the odds of having missing or low quality items in the box, I went for this kit. And I am so very glad that I did! To protect myself from missing items, I made the unboxing video since this is a non returnable item. Now that video is here for all to see. And I got all the items as promised!I used this kit to shave today morning with roughly the methods described in the included booklet. It may feel a bit tedious at times, but I highly recommend following the procedure. I just say that it was probably the best shave I have ever had! And I didn't even use the aggressive clamp! I ran the razor down my cheeks and couldn't feel a thing! Initially I doubted whether the hair was really gone. So I washed a bit and it was a smooth, super clean shave! The blades are excellent and the razor is heavy enough that I didn't need to press it to the skin or pull it downwards like my old 6 blade razor from Let's Shave.I have been using Let's shave for over a year now and even talked my dad into using it. I was using their razor since the beginning and my dad's was newer one. She is a more careful person than me, but his razors broke within a month is usage. I got him 2 more razors, but they broke as well. He got sick of it and went back to his Gillete 2 blade razor. Now even I wanted to move on from Let's Shave since there was no communication from them regarding my complaint.Few weeks ago I accidentally came across Butterfly Razors from a YouTube video and loved its concept. So I researched about it and it seems a lot of people love safety razors. So I decide to buy one. The initial prices seemed high. But razors were of top quality. So I went for this particular one (Butterfly or not).As people said, safety razors are quite something! You can barely feel the razor glide down your face! I still need more practice using this razor, but initial impressions were solid. I think this will be with me for a lifetime! No more pressing down on my face and trying friction burns later from the 6 blades! No more expensive cartridges! No more cheap razors! And no more boring shaves!As we move forward into the future, we should also learn from the past. Modern technology might have many so wonderous things. But modern shaving techniques don't even come close to the safety razor in terms of performance, overall cost of usage and ownership, shaving experience and affect on the skin.

Just had a shave few hours ago. The scent of pre-shave cream is not what I was expecting. But it was effective and gave a good starting for the entire shaving experience. The shaving brush is soft and holds the shaving cream and foam well for the entire duration. The combination of safety razor and the feather blade was perfect that gave a clean and smooth finish upon two passes. The post shave balm gives a smooth and cooling sensation after shaving and the face feels natural and smooth even after hours of application.A few things could have been improved but a value for the money for sure.

Here is a detailed review.The kit contains pre-shaving scrub (cleans your pores), shaving cream and shaving brush, post shaving balm, a razor (absolute beauty) and 20 shaving blades (60-80 shaves depending on your facial hair)Pros:1. Packaging is really good. Feels luxurious.2. Razor is ABSOLUTE beauty. Very simple and elegant.3. Blades are VERY sharp. Give the closest shave ever (compared to Gillette Mach3 and other Gillette single blades). No need to apply any pressure. The razor GLIDES due to its right weight.4. Post shaving balm is excellent. Fragrance is so good that you would love to apply it even on the days when you haven't shaved.5. Shaving brush reatins right amount of water and bristles remain erect even when wet (unlike cheap Gillette or Park Avenue brushes)6. Each blade gives you 3-4 shaves (after which it gets a bit coarse)Cons:1. You have to master the angle of shaving (takes 3-4 shaves to adjust and learn the angle at which you get the closest shave)2. Shaving cream does not produce very dense lather that I was used to with Old Spice cream (may be I am used to dense lather), but it does equally good job.3. Buying from Amazon does not give the option of customization by engraving the name initials on the stem of the razor. However it is avaialble on [...]4. There are no discounts on Amazon, which you can find on company website or facebook page. And referral codes too from the existing users or friends.5. No option on Amazon to order replenishments. It is available on company website.Verdict:Product is an absolute delight. I am loving it. A wonderful option to gift your loved ones. It can actually make you fall in love with shaving. At this cost, you are definitely getting a better quality product tthanthose avaialble in the market and which feels premium at the same time

I was tired of using the cartridge based razors and was looking for a good alternative. Always wanted to go retro and start using the single blade safety razor in the traditional way. If your needs are also similar then you won't regret buying this.Initial usage with the conservative setting wasn't completely satisfactory but by using the aggressive clamp I'm getting the best and closest shave as possible. Very happy and satisfied.

The product quality is total awesome. But my rating is low because the wrong Combo was delivered. I had ordered one with the razor, blades and a travel razor holder. Amazon delivered a combo without the travel razor holder. I had to gift it for someone's birthday so didn't bother with exchange, but paid extra just for the razor holder, which I will have to buy seperately.
