A fun game
This is a really fun Harry Potter themed game. It's pretty basic, the box is actually ridiculously big for the size of the board game itself once unpacked. The gameplay is very similar to Aggravation & follows a lot of the same rules, just redone to mimic the Triwizard Tournament. It's basic but affordable & a cute way to introduce a little extra Harry Potter into your life, if you're a fan. I would recommend this game.

Nice portable travel game
It’s a nice portable/travel version of trouble game without the pop dice center. My six year old niece loved it though. Success depends mainly on luck of roll and draw.

Fun, cheap game
Kind of like Sorry, Parcheesi (with easier rules), or Aggravation. It's just not quite as nice as any of the others. It's a cheap game (pieces, board, etc.), but really, what do you expect for the price. The big draw here is the Harry Potter theme. If you're a collector, then this is a great addition. If you're just looking for a new game to play, go with the original Sorry, Parcheesi, or Aggravation.

Lots of fun
My 8yr old has recently gotten really big into playing board games. Frankly I'm game for anything that gets him away from a screen. He does love the harry potter franchise so when he saw this he kept begging for it. we must have played it a dozen or more time the first week, he has slowed down with it and more of a once or twice a week game now. Overall its a fun board game that teach strategy as well as forcing him to read the cards which is teaching him in fun ways that keeps him engaged. Overall a fun game regardless if your a harry potter fan or not!

Fun easy game. Would like more graphics on the board and cards.
This Harry Potter themed game very much reminds me of The game Sorry! You race your pawns around the board to be the first to reach the end. Watch out though, as your opponents can knock you back to the start. This game is fairly simple and even young children can play.I do wish the board had more graphics on it. I get the tri-wizard maze but I feel like it should have Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, Hagrid, and even Draco. If you’re going to call it Harry Potter themed, then make it Harry Potter. Even the cards only have the trophy on it and a bit of maze. There are a lot of people who collect Harry Potters items, this one misses the mark for that purpose. The game itself is fun for a few play throughs but not challenging for much more especially for older kids and adults. Young kids would like it more in my opinion.

It’s Okay
Basically, this is “Aggravation” with a Harry Potter theme and twist. The basic game play follows the rules of “Aggravation”. There are some “magic” spots around the board that allow you to draw a card when landed on and those cards can give you instructions that can help or hurt you.The quality of the game board, cards, pawns, etc. are not great. They all feel a little flimsy. When you are buying a game that is a “licensed” product - you expect a higher quality or at least an equal quality to what the normal game would bring. This game does not meet my minimum expectations for quality. The board is very flimsy and doesn’t have enough weights to lay completely flat. And, the pawn are super lightweight. So, EVERY time you roll the die (if you roll it on the board which is what our family is accustomed to doing) multiple pawns will fall over, move off their spots, etc. So, every turn includes adjusting pawns back to their proper places. And this goes on for the whole game. This could easily be solved with heavier duty materials. Did anyone try the function of the game before selling it? Further, the attention to detail in some of the instructions, specifically on the “magic” cards, is lacking. The board uses labels such as “base” for where your pawns start out the game, but the cards refer to the same area as something entirely different leaving the instructions open to interpretation or confusion. We are intelligent people and can assume what the intended instructions are, but I feel that we shouldn’t have to. Just paying attention to details would have made that all better. So, while we did enjoy the added “magic” card twists throughout the game, this version of “Aggravation” isn’t really worth it. There really isn’t anything super special about the game that makes it more “Harry Potter-ish” than the box. I wouldn’t buy this game unless you just absolutely want the licensed game and don’t plan on using it.

Harry Potter gameboard.
The media could not be loaded. I really like this game. It's very fun and very competitive. This game gives you hours of fun and you're like where did to time go? In the beginning it was a little bit confusing. But once you get the hang of it, you get it. Overall, very much family bonding and family fun time.
