Really good matcha! Tastes really good and it seems high quality, and was fresh and bright green when I opened it! I mixed it with some of my syrups and it made a great drink, it was easy to blend and I didn't notice any gritty texture. You get double the amount of matcha out of this bag than you would from a competitor, for about the same price, so it was a great deal!!

This matcha powder is a standout in terms of quality and affordability. One package contains 60 grams of matcha for only $15, making it an excellent value. The matcha powder is vibrant green and delivers a beautifully balanced flavor~ refreshing grassy notes and a hint of bitterness that doesn’t overpower (I did a direct taste test!).I like my matcha a little strong, so I used 4 grams and whisked it with hot water at 176F, added my go to honey syrup, and milk. It pairs well with the honey syrup and oat milk, but I’m eager to try it with other sweeteners and fruits as well. This is a must try for matcha enthusiasts and beginners!

this matcha is great for an everyday latte, and the amount you get for the price point is amazing. this is definitely a good option for an everyday matcha, but i will say that the flavor profile is more on the grassier side and definitely needs sweetener if you prefer sweeter matchas. the quality definitely surpasses the price point, though, and it is a great affordable option to have! the texture is great and easy to whisk, the color is green but isn't as vibrant as some of the other matchas, but i do like that it still has an authentic taste and still tastes quite rich. definitely worth a buy if you are a beginner matcha lover and are looking to try different matchas!

Delicious!! Vibrant green and not too bitter. It froths very well on its own, into a creamy, velvety texture, and it's great when I make hot or cold lattes! A+

I made myself a hojicha latte today using this powder. I was excited to try it but was disappointed with my first sip. The hojicha flavor was subtle and not as strong as other brands like Ocha and Co. Moreover, there is a slight bitter aftertaste that Ocha and Co do not have. Overall, I would not buy this powder again. However, it is cheaper and more budget-friendly than other brands out there. So if you're not too picky about your hojicha and you want to save money, this is the pick for you.

I'm a beginner matcha enthusiast, and naturally came upon hojicha while getting acquainted with matcha, testing various brands on Amazon. While I do love the green, vegetal, grassy taste of matcha, I REALLY love the nutty, roasty toasty chocolatey taste of roasted matcha; aka hojicha.Now I will say I have not tasted any other hojicha brands to compare this to, so I really have no reference point for what is considered good, bad, or mediocre hojicha. However that being said I find this stuff to be a great introduction to it in my amateur opinion. It's affordable, tastes great, blends perfectly with a matcha whisk or electric milk frother, and in a pinch I've even used a fork!It tastes absolutely devine in a hojicha latte with milk and sweetener (if any) of your choice. My preferred method is to prepare it like matcha with the bamboo whisk, but add a teaspoon or so of cocoa powder and a healthy pinch of cinnamon! The flavors go together so well. The drink in the photo attached is a hojicha latte with peanut butter cream on top! Tasted like a Reese's cup in a glass. Heavenly! Just take some heavy cream and a spoonful of peanut butter, sprinkle of sugar if you want, hit it with a milk frother and BAM. Delicious, thick, luscious creamy peanut butter cream to dollop atop your hojicha and cocoa latte. Thank me later!

Pretty good matcha. Im a big matcha lover and have tried many powders, from super cheap ones to super expensive ones. This powder is not the most super high quality, but it is still really good and flavorful-- not too astringent or sweet, perfectly balanced.

It was divine timing with getting a hold of this matcha because I actually ran out of my original brand and was actively looking for a new one. It has such a bold flavor on its own and mixes well with my bar syrups. I definitely will keep a constant supply at home for my enjoyment!I'm naturally a coffee lover at home but I can finally balance out the two with this matcha.
