This is a great product made of superior quality. It's durable and very powerful. If you're a contractor working on indoor projects that generate a lot of dust, or if you're serious about removing dust from your home, this product could be exactly what you need. Unfortunately, I found it a bit bulky and noisy for my needs, so I had to return it and opt for a lighter, quieter, albeit less effective alternative for cleaning my basement.

Well made and worked perfectly. Noise level was acceptable. I used this after painting in a confined cellar. Ran it for several hours sending fumes outside. Afterwards, very little paint fume smells. Worked great.

For it's size it a monster. I had a water leak. This was for the crawlspace under the house. I hoped to move a lot of air. The duct directed the air where I want. But you need everything secure because the airflow is wild. Secure the duct. It can expand and move wildly with the air.This moves a lot of air. You could ventilate an entire tunnel under a border with one or two of these.It's small but heavy. Everything is thick, sturdy, and simple.I bought this in an emergency to move a lot of air. Hopefully that will be fixed and I'll find some other purpose for this since it works so well. Not sure what since it has only one speed, fast. Too much to stand in front of, and consider small animals that walk behind it.

Good product

I recommend getting the silver mylar ducting to fit it because the vinyl collapses.I need it to ventilate epoxy fumes from occupied homes and its perfect.But it's LOUD.Better than smelling chemicals.

From reading prior reviews, I thought: 1) it's going to be REALLY loud, and 2) the duct is probably going to last only a short time. Well, it was no louder than my Hoover upright vacuum cleaner. I've only used it once, so time will tell regarding durability, but it is definitely well built without flimsy materials. When I pulled it out of the box, I noticed immediately that the duct was HEAVY, and appears to be well made of a durable material; in addition, to attach it to the fan, it has a thick nylon cinch cord. So far, it LOOKS like it'll go the distance. And,most importantly, it does move a lot of air.

It's a monster, that's for sure. It pumps a ton of air, and I was using it to provide positive pressure to a paint booth. It did that just fine, but then it just started randomly shutting off? It worked fine for like a week and then it started doing this.I'm not sure why, but it would just shut off. Not tripping a breaker or anything, but it would run for a few minutes then off. I tried several different circuits and got the same result each time. Shame, because it did a really good job of moving a ton of air.

Great for fume ventilation indoor work. Lightweight and doesn’t take up much room, yet yields a very stout construction, this was a good purchase. I’ve been doing all of the welding/fabrication for a gun range, and this unit has helped keep my work area clear. I had to run a gas generator indoors, and this unit allowed me funnel the exhaust outdoors prior to HVAC being turned on. Would buy again, just a bigger one!
