I LOVE the purple color and is a great size. I only get about 4 or 5 hummers but that’s ok. I do have a little problem. I was cleaning it last night and the filter came loose and I couldn’t get it quite right trying to put it back in, and now it leaks a little. I have tried every which way to put it back on right, but it didn’t work. I may end up ordering another one of these feeders anyway because they are really pretty and attracts the hummers. The sturdiness is great and made well. Also easy to clean until my rubber filter fell off, 😆

I bought this to replace a red plastic feeder. This one is so pretty, easy to wash and fill. The hummingbirds love it too. I refill it about every 2 weeks.

Great quality and a beautiful addition for our 1 little hummingbird we get daily!! The red glass itself is so pretty and does attract the birds. Still had a few large ants get in, but you have to change the liquid every couple days so its not really an issue. Love seeing this outside it brightens my garden area.

Good quality hummingbird feeder. There are two small drawbacks. First - I bought a blue-green feeder, but in reality it is almost uniform in color and rather pale, but in the sun it shimmers beautifully. Second - you need to buy an adapter for water to prevent ants from accessing the sweet water. Overall, despite these two small drawbacks, I can give this feeder 5 stars for the price-quality ratio.

The reviews I saw about this feeder showed it to be red in color. The one that came from Amazon was purple but the birds in my area seemed to like it anyway. So far it has not been a target for bees or larger birds. Hard to tell what humming birds like or dislike other than they come to the feeder or don't. The birds in the desert area of Arizona seem to like this one.

Just received this yesterday, cleaned it and hung it for the neighborhood hummingbirds. The design is very nice, and the color of the red unit is actually much nicer and brighter in person than in the pictures.The "bottle" is glass, and everything else is plastic or metal. The 3 parts consists of the "bottle", the bottom "cup" and the part where the birds can stand on the edge and drink through the holes. Everything is very attractive, much nice than the feeder it is replacing and everything fits easily together.It holds over 2 cups of sugar water and is taller than most units I've looked at.If I had to bring up any negatives, it would be hinge. The hinge to the bracket that you hang it on, extends beyond the plane of the 'bottom' (until you hang it, then it is the 'top') of the feeder. So, when cleaning, you'd likely set it on its bottom/top since it's flat and it'll sit evenly on a counter or sink bottom, but it does not. That hinge causes it to not sit flat, making it a little awkward for cleaning. The designers of the feeder should have had the hinges a little higher/lower up/down, but that's just nitpicking.Tips:Use only white cane sugar and water. Regardless of the color of the "bottle", you do not need red water. That red dye causes issues with the hummingbirds. Just white sugar and water is all you need.You also need to clean the feeder from time to time. I clean mine every week. Not cleaning the feeder can allow mold to grow, which can kill hummingbirds. I clean mine with regular dish detergent with a long-handled scrub brush. I rinse it several times to assure all soap is removed, then rinse it again with white vinegar, which helps to remove any remaining soap residue. I rinse it again with regular water several times to remove the vinegar, then I fill it with the sugar water.Overall a very nice looking and functional feeder. This is day one, so if anything changes, I will come back and add to this review.

Replaced my old blue feeder with this and saw an immediate difference. Had a lot more hummingbirds. Looks nice and easy to fill. Has withstood our insane windstorms without any issue.
