Could have been so much better
Item worked fine. Instructions weren’t great. The hair on the unicorn had fallen out (seemed I got a used item)The hair continued to fall out which was disappointing as it was my daughter’s Santa present. I notified the seller about this and was told to return which I couldn’t do as the item is huge. Disappointing for the amount of money I paid as I expected it to come in perfect condition and not used.

Fantastic toy for any child who loves unicorns
The Unicorn Electric Ride-On Toy has been a delightful addition to our home, especially for my unicorn-obsessed granddaughter. She absolutely adores it and treats it as her very own magical pet.Assembly was straightforward and took less time than expected, thanks to the included tools. However, after charging it initially, it didn’t work until I realised that I needed to connect the battery as well. Charging takes about six hours, so I usually leave it overnight, ensuring plenty of run/playtime for the next day.The unicorn's appearance is charming, and my granddaughter loves feeding it the toy carrot and brushing its hair with the included hairbrush. The interactive sounds and lights add a magical touch, bringing the unicorn to life and enhancing her play experience.Riding the unicorn is her favourite activity, and she enjoys the forward and reverse movement, though turning isn't very good. We have laminate flooring and a spacious area that allows her to ride from the living room through to the dining area and the computer room, providing ample space for her adventures.Overall, the Unicorn Electric Ride-On Toy has been a hit with our granddaughter, providing hours of joy and imaginative play. It's a fantastic toy for any child who loves unicorns and interactive play.

A great ride-on toy for a young child. Sturdy and bright coloured.
Xootz Unicorn Electric Ride-On Toy (B0CWP9R7CN)A great ride-on toy for a young child. Sturdy and bright coloured.I connected the front and back wiring of the toy as instructed and left it to charge for a couple of hours but no joy. Eventually I took off the saddle and noticed that the battery had yet to be connected as well. On connecting it all worked fine and the toy could run back and forth, the mouth interacted with the carrot and the lights activated when the head was stroked. (for those with the same problem, it is the connector at (7) in the leaflet) and on re-reading, it clearly mentions that the battery needs to be connected - D'OH!! so it was my problem. You (or your child) can brush the mane and feed a carrot to the toy and it will respond accordingly. The toy can be ridden or pulled along. It has forward and backward motion and the controls are on the reins so the child has access to them directly. If the accelerator is released, the toy comes to a halt.A speed control would have been a good addition so that your child can get used to the motion of the toy.The build of this toy is great, it is already withstanding some knocks on the furniture and it is great fun when it's in motion.Definitely recommended and I think its value for money considering how good it is.

Fun, lovely interactions!
The media could not be loaded. I got this unicorn ride-on toy for my children, 1 and 5 years. It does come in 2 pieces, as you need to connect a few wires inside, but it was fairly easy to do. The instructions could've been slightly more clear though, in my opinion, as a few parts took me a while to figure out. (The saddle was a bit stiff to remove, and when you slide the front and back pieces together, you have to make sure you don't trap the wire)You don't need any tools though, apart from the 2 included, to tighten up the bolts, so that's really good. You get a plug for charging the ride-on, and the light changes from red to green, when it's fully charged. I let it charge overnight the first time, but it suggests 4/6 hours, and to also not let the battery fully drain, or this could make it stop working! So that's just something to be aware of.My kids absolutely love their new 'pet' unicorn! She's a good size for them, but not too big they can't ride it around our living room. You get a hair brush included, so you can brush her hair, and also a carrot to feed her with, which both fit in the little compartment in the saddle. (see my photo)You also get a sheet of stickers, so she can be decorated however your child/children want her to look. The unicorn makes some lovely sounds, and also her horn lights up. These are activated by brushing her hair, (pressing down on her head) stroking her face, and pushing down on her tongue when you 'feed' her the carrot. (see my video)The controls for driving are on the handle, and are very easy to operate, my 5 year old had no problem using it pretty much straight away. You flick the black switch one side for Forward, and the other side for Reverse, and then continuously hold down the red button for it to go! It moves well, even on our thick carpet, although it is a little noisy. My 1 year old is a bit too small to drive it himself, so he's been riding on it with my 5 year old, and they think it's amazing!I'm giving it 4/5 stars for a few reasons.Firstly, it doesn't turn very well, so manoeuvring around furniture etc is a bit tricky. Also, the unicorn's hair is a little thin, we've already had quite a bit brush out already, so I thought that could've been better.Otherwise though, I'm really happy with it. The kids love it, and I also think the current price is reasonable for an electric ride-on toy this size. I will update my review in a few weeks, when it's been played with more, to see how it fares, but so far so good!
