This powder is an interesting addition to our kitchen. It's easy to mix with just about anything, and doesn't affect the flavor very much. I'm not sure of the health benefits, but it's easy to use, so worth a try. From what I've read about the berries, they seem like a good thing to add to my diet!

I got this because Schisandra is one of my favorite supplements and for possible benefits for my liver health it is definitely my personal number 1. My passion is skin care but I watch my liver very closely and do what I can to benefit my cognitive health and keep my immunity healthy. Schisandra is thought to possibly have a wide spectrum of possible health benefits with the fore mentioned included possibly. Schisandrin C ( a bioactive chemical compound found possibly in Schisandra) was thought to possibly have antioxidant activity with health threats occurring in the liver in some studies. Schisandrin B was to found to possibly have an interaction on amyloid beta peptides associated with conditions related to cognitive decline. Schisandra has also been studied for anxiety and depression however the studies are limited with this imo. Noteworthy imo is that in ancient Chinese medicine Schisandra is thought to be beneficial to Qi which is the lifeforce. Schisandra contains lignans and flavonoids which are antioxidants that may possibly neutralize free radicals thus benefiting the skin possibly from oxidative stress. It is because of these possible health associations and so many more that I really like this ingredient. I currently take it in capsule form but very happy to come across this product in powder form. I can increase my dosage easily imo with this powder form. My package did not come with a scooper so I used a 1 teaspoon measuring spoon. You can see on my scale it is weighing ( with the teaspoon weight tared out) about 2.6 grams. So for 5 grams I'll need about 2 teaspoons roughly. I really like this has no additives and is non GMO. I am currently putting this in my coffee and I don't tase it at all. I don't notice anything with this ingredient and this brand included. I just hope behind the scenes good things are possibly happening. Good Luck and I Hope this was Helpful.

I've been mixing Schisandra Extract and Pine Pollen Powder (both from Toutai) in with my smoothies and so far, they've been delicious additions. They arrived in sealed sacks and seemed to be of good quality.They're ground up pretty fine and mix well with fruits, veggies and fruit juice, but I've yet to see how it mixes with thicker liquids (milk, etc). Insofar as value goes, they're a little expensive at between $3.00 and $3.73 USD per OUNCE, but really, you're paying for the convenience on these, since they arrived ready for the scooping.They added a nice energy boost to a healthy smoothie and overall, I'd recommend them if you're like us and don't have a ton of free time to spend on chopping and grinding for them. I'll further add the powder remains mixed and tasty even when frozen, so you can make batch smoothies with them without any of the weird grit texture with other, less finely ground powders.

I ordered this powder with the expectation of supporting my body and adding more nutrients. I was a bit nervous because it is in powder form and sometimes powder can taste awful or bitter. There is a lot of information on the packageThe package is good quality , with a nice strong grip. The serving size is 5g, this is the only thing I would change on the package. I had to rely on my trusted friend Google to confirm 1 teaspoon is in fact equal to 5g. The powder is a nice brown color and dissolves easily in hot water. The flavor is very subtle and the water turns the same color as iced tea. It is very easy to consume. I look forward to the added benefits it provides.

Supplements are not regulated. So it's hard to tell what is truly in these things. It tastes OK and Schisandra has potential to have some signifiant benefits including alzheimer's. The powder form makes it easy to drop in a scoop into my blender for a smoothy.

This product arrived finely ground, fresh and well sealed. The resealable bag works easily and as it should, keeping the product fresh.This product does originate from China, but this is plainly listed on the label, but I would like to see this as part of the item listing.The flavor and aroma are exactly what one expects with this supplement.Overall a very good product at a fair value , I am satisfied with this extract.

It tastes gross to me, but every opinion is different. It was unusable to me due to the taste. So I threw it away. 🚮
