As advertised. Very cool thingy. We have a step between living and dining rooms which is hard to see. This thing lights it up great.Very easy to install and use. Great addition to my other Govver fixtures.

The set up of these lights was pretty quick an easy. There’s the option to screw the mounting plates into the wall or just use the adhesive on the back of the plates without screws. I found that when I didn’t screw them into the wall the adhesive fell off the wall pretty quickly. But since I’ve screwed them all in I haven’t had an issue.I love all of the color options and the in app features. You can set the lights to move to the best of your music, have one solid color, or have multiple colors. There’s various patterns and colors in the app or you can customize what you want the light strip to look like. The app is easy to use and I honestly don’t use it that much now that I have the lights set how I like them.It’s a fun and functional way to spice up any room. I love having fun lights like this in my gym. I would buy them again.

I have a lot of unique lighting, I finally graduated from old school string lights to led lights a few years ago, but this is the next step. I have led lights on one side of my room but I wanted a more ambient light without specific bulbs. THIS IS IT. I love it. I followed all advice I read and use the screws to install it, I did not even bother with the sticky part, especially as I wanted it at my ceiling. It is so pretty and fun to choose different colors and scenes. I believe there are other led lighting brand apps that are a little easier to use and more straightforward, but once you poke around the app, it's fine. The 9.8' length was also great for one side of my room.

The media could not be loaded. Well let’s get started the lights are fine but there are some issues I have with them. 1) I used these for the ceiling lining and the control box is close to the light strip so that means I have control boxes about a foot down from the ceiling. Would be way better just in general (for me anyway) if you made all your boxes closer to the plug side it would be way easier to hide wires. 2) I have a set of the rope light 2 and figured it would work the same and it doesn’t. I use the same color scene I made with all my lights. On this light there seems to no gradient toggle so it looks different from the rest of my lights. I will say the gradient does come through on brighter settings. Could this be fixed with an update? 3) Also the app is always slow. It has to load every time you turn on or off the lights. Where as Alexa just turns them off quickly. So that’s not a huge deal. The one picture shows where my down lights control box is closer to the floor. The video if it comes through shows that the lining lights don’t have a smooth gradient like the others. Just my thoughts on this product. I do have several Govee lights and would like them to flow the same.

The product itself looks pretty and the lights are bright. A lot of patterns in the Govee app which is very user friendly. I usually love Govee products but this one is a major miss because the adhesive straight up does not stick on the wall unfortunately. I wish they would have put the adhesive directly on the light strip like their other products. The adhesive fell immediately and I could not use it at all.

Got this as a gift for a family member who loves AV stuff. Previously I'd gotten him the Dreamview TV lights and I was hoping you could sync them up, but couldn't find info online. We'll, you can! It let's you select which sections of the Dreamview TV lights you want to match up with each section of the rope lights, so these items pair really well together. We put them on the opposite wall from the TV and it really adds to the immersion effect of the dreamview lights. Very good combo gift for any Audio/Visual nerds you know. I recommend installing with screws instead of the adhesive as the lights are quite heavy. Install takes some time but its not too difficult if you've got a drill. These are definitely well worth it. They look much better than a standard LED light strip, because the tube shape disperses the light much more evenly

I love these lights, though I didn't follow the instructions at first and had to put them up a second time.It says to actually mount them if your using them in the upper corners of a room, I originally didn't and the sticky pads failed after about two weeks.But it came with mounting equipment and it wasn't hard to fix it in the end. Guess that's what I get for being lazy.Quality is great, and they can get really bright if you want them to.Only issue is some of the preprogrammed color animations seem to leave blank white spots, but when I customize it myself it works fine.

Bought these for merchandise display and love the versatility of it. Easy access via app on phone, can customize lights or use their many cool preprogrammed choices. Sturdy and good quality product.
