The instruments are really adorable and well made. Perfect size for my 5 yr granddaughter, and I really like the colors. The kids love to march around the house and play the instruments, and the sound isn't "cheap" and annoying! I am really happy with this purchase.

My daughter lovessss music so you know it was only right that we get her musical instruments! She has a ball with them. These are durable percussion set. My child has been banging and throwing the tambourine, and xylophone and it’s still intact. For the musically inclined parents, on the xylophone, the B is sharp and C and E is flat.Overall, this is a great set for the quality and price. We are happy to have purchased this.

I got these as a gift for my niece. She's 11 months old and just loves music. We supervise her the entire time she has them and put them away and out of reach when we're done. I suggest you do the same and not let them play with these on their own. Having said that, we like these a lot and we're cautious with any toys that have parts.They're all well-made and sound the way they should when playing with them. I washed them before giving them to her, so she does put her mouth on them, and we've experienced no problems. They smelled normal out of the box. Sometimes things have an odd smell about them when they first arrive...these did not. They've been washed many times over and they're holding up well. I just make sure to dry them out, so the metal bits don't rust.I love that it came with a carrying bag, too. I didn't have to find another bag or box to put them in when they're being transported somewhere. I'd buy again as a gift any time.

Cute colors and great idea for Littles. But the xylophone is very off tune which will bother anyone who is not tone deaf
