Full Tang Camping Knife, 5CR15 MOV Stainless Steel Fixed Blade Survival Bushcraft Knife with Plastic Sheath (Black)

I bought this for my hiking backpack. It's good to mount upside down on the shoulder strap for easy access. The knife came almost sharp enough for my liking. I honed it with a diamond stone, which is perfectly usable for whatever I want. I liked it so much that I bought two more as gifts. Again, for the money, it is a great purchase.

The knife is decent and sharp. It looks to be stainless. The sheath is garbage. The sheath doesn’t hold the knife secure and the vertical best loops don’t for my 1” leather belt. It’s Chinese garbage. I paid $10 so I’ll try to make a sheath for it with some kydex straps I have and keep it in my tackle box.I’d pass if I had it to do over again.

Sheath is really bad. It's a generic model and the knife fitment is poor at best. The knife isn't too bad, although the bevels are ground uneven. It will take a lot of work to get the edges corrected. Love the design.

this would be an amazing knife if the sheathe had any retention the moment u rattle it few times it comes out of the sheathe and would fall on your foot and pierce it DANGEROUS KNIFE, returned it. if the sheathe was molded properly i would EASILY gave it 5/5 because it is a nice design sheathe and knife.....

For well under $20 this is a solid offering. It feels sturdy in the hand and has a comfortable handle contour. The blade is stout, but not overly thick. It was fairly sharp, but 5Cr15 is pretty easy to bring to razor sharpness. I stropped it a bit and that was enough to bring it to shaving sharp.As mentioned by others the sheath retention is a bit light. I heard mine with a heat gun and squeezed it a bit snugger at the top. That was enough to make a difference. If you aren't doing acrobatics, it's probably okay as is, but the fix is easy.This would make a decent yard beater, camp knife, hunting knife or trunk knife. Really not bad for the price, but I'd probably still prefer a Mora. I hope this review helps!
