I've been holding off doing this review for several months now so I can really say how well it works. Overall if you're wondering if it would be worth it or not - it is. The screen you currently have what's it do? Shows you your radio station, right? That's it. This one has its quirks, and the screen itself is not as high quality, but this does so much more. It took me a minute to get used to it but I would not go back and I'm very glad to have it. It's worth making the change.INSTALLATIONMy son-in-law put it in. He had to take the whole middle section of the dash apart and it took him a few hours but it was really very easy just a bit messy. It's very stable and secure.PROS- You now can use your maps from your phone to navigate on a big screen and not use the car's factory navigation (which did me dirty more than once)- screen is nice and bright and large- enables you to receive/respond to texts safelyCONS- Sometimes it reads you your texts through the car's system, sometimes through your phone, sometimes not at all. It's very quirky.- Using things like Amazon Music or listening to audible books through the car system requires you to hit the "media" button on your dash first.- The nighttime sensor is overly sensitive and will often dim the screen when it's just cloudy so that it's very hard to see- The screen is very shiny so glare is a big deal. But when you are navigating the glare doesn't interfere with that.- There are several steps (taps) to change the radio station if you're using the GPS screen.- Sometimes it only wants to scroll through 3 radio stations either direction. To bypass this glitch you have to press down on the (I don't know what it's called) circle so that the menu for all the stations comes up then select any station and then it will let you scroll through your radio stations again.NOTE:- Leave the cord with the USB plug out and accessible somehow somewhere because you'll need it for updates.- Once it was installed I did need to reach out to the manufacturer for an update because there were features that were inaccessible that made the screen a bit unusable, and it wanted to show me temps in Celsius. (On your factory screen you know how across the bottom it shows you icons for your temp controls, etc. Before the update I was unable to change the screen resolution so none of that showed up on the screen.)"WISH"I wish the far right side of the screen "did" something when in radio mode. It's just this random empty space doing nothing over there.

AWFUL, DOESN'T WORK, POOR QUALITY. Nothing works well in this piece a s**** equipment. BT never connects and if you try to use the OEM, forget it, you'll have to set all over again and the sound of waze or google maps whatever you are using comes out from your PHONE. As a "workaround", every single time you start your car, you'll have to go to the configuration menu and try to FORCE the BT of this equipment to connect with you car, EVERY TIME. Very often gets frozen and loses connection with the android auto. Now I have this piece of trash installed in my car (and I paid for that) and I will have to pay again to remove it and reinstall the original one. REGRET is the word. DON'T BUY UNLESS YOU LIKE TO BE PISSED OFF.

Great product! Highly recommend! Installation is straightforward. Many videos on the web show how to take the dash apart and install this type of unit. I installed it in my wife's 2018 Mercedes Benz C300 in about 2 hours. I took my time to make sure I didn't damage anything. We bought the car new and loved everything about it except the radio/navigation. It wasn't touch screen and had no Apple Carplay or Andriod Auto.This unit fixed all that. Feels like a new car now. I have tested it with wireless Apple Carplay and wireless Andriod Auto. You can switch back to OEM view and see the original system and it works the same as stock. If you touch the screen it brings you back to the Road Top screen. When in Apple Carplay or Andriod Auto, if you adjust the HVAC temp a screen overlay pops up with the temp. This was a nice surprise as I didn't think it would be possible for them to do that.Support was also very responsive. After installation when I adjusted the HVAC temperature the overlay popped up and displayed the temp in Celsius. I could not find a setting to switch it to Fahrenheit. I sent an email to support and after a couple of emails and in 2 days they sent me a new software update that added a setting to change the temperature unit. The update was easy to install and an option was now in settings to set the temperature units.Once installed and set up, using it is seamless. You get in the car and start it. The system boots up, audio connects and starts playing music and the screen goes straight into Apple Carplay or Andriod Auto without touching anything.All the original car audio controls work in Carplay, in addition to the touchscreen. This is a great product if you are looking for Carplay or Android Auto support in your MB C300!

Great product, and easy to install. Customer service is excellent. Carplay connects automatically when I start the car. Linux OS loads much faster than the Android screens.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this product for a few days now and overall, I’m very satisfied. The installation process is straightforward, especially if you have previous experience with radio installations. The interface is clean and responsive, and once set up, CarPlay functions seamlessly. The only issue I’ve encountered is when playing music via USB—the system tends to switch to the radio after about five minutes. I haven’t yet determined the cause, but since I primarily use Bluetooth, this hasn’t been a significant concern. Aside from that, no complaints so far.

Installation was confusing, (it took me 6 hours with trouble shooting in settings). A majority of the connections are now needed.I did not use the external speaker. Ensure all the connections are intact upon mounting the screen as they come loose.For CarPlay users make sure you connect Top Road screen’s bluetooths transmitter to your Mercedes OEM Bluetooth device list.

Don’t waste your money.Poor qualityDelayed in audioEcho during calls.I paid for $300 for the installation so I couldn’t return it because it will cost me money to uninstall it.
