I recently got the Aptorlty Mobile Air Conditioner, and here are my thoughts on it. This device is pretty versatile, combining multiple functions into one unit. It’s not just an air conditioner; it also works as a fan, air purifier, and humidifier. This makes it super handy for different needs throughout the year.One thing that stands out is its height. It’s taller than most fans, which helps in distributing air more effectively across the room. The air outlet design is quite smart. The top part can be adjusted to direct air wherever you need it, and the bottom part moves automatically, spreading cool air evenly.The energy efficiency of this unit is impressive. It doesn't consume a lot of power, so it’s easier on the electricity bill compared to traditional air conditioners. Plus, it doesn’t require any complicated setup like window ducts, which is a huge plus for someone like me who isn’t handy with tools.I appreciate the variety of modes and speeds. There are four modes to choose from, and each serves a different purpose. Whether you need a gentle breeze while you sleep or a powerful blast of air to cool down quickly, this unit can handle it. Also, The remote control range is convenient, which allows me to operate the unit from across the room without needing to get up and the timer is a thoughtful addition, giving it flexibility in managing their cooling needs. However, while it’s not excessively loud, the noise level at higher fan speeds can be noticeable, which might be a downside for light sleepers. The cooling efficiency and capability are disappointing because it does not cool the whole space up when it is in the bedroom or living room. Therefore, the price for this does not meet the standard of an air conditioning. Overall, its multi-functionality and remote control are its standout features, offering convenience and flexibility. However, its limited cooling power, average build quality, and noise level might not make it the best choice for everyone, especially those with larger cooling needs or who are sensitive to noise. Overall, it’s a good product, but there’s definitely room for improvement. Therefore, I give this a 3 stars rating!

I already had a good tower fan but I thought would try this unit as a cooler and fan. Well, how wrong I was. Filled the four containers as instructed, put them in the freezer until solid (about four hours) then put cold water in the unit along with the four frozen packs. Switch on. Yes, a nice fan but no better than my old one. In fact, worse as it only had a narrow "swing" radius. Anyway, switched to "cool" and I could hear the water circulating. So far so good but after 2 hours the room temperature had gone up three or four degrees rather than down. Whether "cool" was on or off, it made no difference to the air temperature being blown at me.So, to summarise a rather expensive fan. Now returned for a refund and I guess if I want aircon, I will have to buy the real thing.Don't be fooled by any of these water/ice based tower fan units. I doubt any of them can achieve what they claim.
