great for UV nails and finding uranium glass. It does put off some heat and not recommended to point at your face, but holy cow was it scarry lol, if you do, please do not shine in your eyes. My sisters fake tooth lit up a different color lol. It came with a nice carrying case and eye protection.

This UV Light works fine for what you intend to use it for keep in mind it has more of a flood light then a beam. I wish it could do both. I'll be returning it. Though if it fits your need for what you need it to do knowing its bright and has the flood then it will work wonderfully.

I bought this to use for cats as they come into our rescue group. We have had some cases of ringworm slip by before we could isolate them.I love that the black filter on the beam makes it easier to use when not all ambient light can be blocked out.

I bought another uv mini-flashlight from the same company, but it has two flaws: you can only charge from the USB-C port, and the battery is soldered into the flashlight. The first became apparent when the port broke and came out in the cable, and the second became an issue because there is no way to charge it anymore. This new model allows me to pull out the battery and have it charged outside the flashlight, and also replace the battery in case it fails.The safety goggle seems to work fine (tested by turning the flash light against my glasses with transitions lenses, which became dark as expected, but then used the flashlight to send the bean through the safety glass into the transition lenses, and there is no impact on it).
