Great Way Into the World of 3D Printing
I purchased this as part of a project to build a device for cleaning mechanical watch parts which is in the time of writing this view is still work in progress. The person who supplied the license to build the machine advised that most people who decide to build the project will normally buy a 3D printer rather than pay 3rd party company who could charge up to and over £1000 .After doing so much research I'm proud to say I'm really pleased with the Ender 3 V3 SE, please note this is an entry level 3D printer and it doesn't offer as much fancy features as some others do within the kinda same price or expensive bracket but what it does do it does really, really well. There is a learning curve and you need to have a lot of patience because it will frustrate the pants off you but Creality has a fantastic community and once you get the hang of things you'll be up all night (yes depending on what you are printing things can take hours). Please note if you are just starting out try to get as much information as possible something which is so easy these days with the internet and don't be afraid to get in touch with Creality and ask as many questions as possible.Depending on what you would like to print if it's decorative and/or functional there's various types of material and some are suited more than others and this printer can only print a couple of them.All-in-All would I recommend this... YES 100%If you like things technical and don't mind a learning curve with the printer plus the software needed to process 3D models before they can be converted and sent to a 3D printer, also there's so many well known websites and forums your you to download other peoples designs then this is a great way to start 3D printing.BE WARNED ONCE STARTED YOU'LL BE DRAWN INTO THE AMAZING WORLD OF 3D PRINTING!

Great starter 3D Printer
I got this as a starterIt arrived in a branded brown box, on opening its well packed, it does need some assembly and to be honest i found it easy to do, however if there are any issues there are plenty of YouTube videos and even reasonably clear instructions in the box. The whole process tuck me around hour and half.Everything you need is in the box to start including a small amount of filament. Once set up there software is simple to download Creality Slicer 4.8 is what im using there is also free sites where you can create 3d models (i recommend tinkercad website free and a great place to start designingBefore you print i recommend making sure the bed is level this can be done by placing a piece of paper on the bed and moving the print head over the 4 corners and middle, the print head just be low enough the the print bed that the paper fits through with a little bit of resistance. Once this done using the control return print head to home.Printing is easy once you found what you want using the software splice and save to the supplied Micro SD card remove from PC and insert into Printer and away you go. I have not had any issue with the printer at present and have printed off a few small projects.Over all happy to recommend

Excellent
I gave this product 5 stars. The printer was easy to assemble and plenty of helpful instructional videos available on YouTube. I didn’t have to level the print bed or adjust any other part of the printer. The printer had a heated bed and a magnetic sheet. Once I had the printer loaded with PLA there is an option of preheating the PLA. The temperature at the extruder and print bed reached operational parameters and then I started to print my 3D model. The print job took about one hour and the end result can be viewed in the photo I attached. I detached the magnetic sheet and peeled off the model. Overall I am very happy with its operation and print quality. The software for the printer is included on a mini usb stick that contains a micro 8 Gb SD Card. Once the printer software is loaded on the pc, stl files can be opened and their size can be manipulated further, when satisfied it can be saved and it will create the GCode for the printer. I found this procedure very easy to perform. I am very happy with my printer and I will recommend this product to my friends.

Mixed blessing
This could be a great machine but as others have outlined the lack of instructions and the wide variety of tips on the internet only serve to confuse.Firstly, well built, robust and excellent value. The sum of the parts would be considerably more than the cost of the whole, so, great value. But, trying to get results out of the box demands great patience and lots of research.Essentially the manufacturer fails completely to deliver any reasonable methods of working. Too much on the internet appears simple to follow but is contradictory as there are different models and different solutions.So. We have upgraded the machine with stronger bed springs and levelling wheels and a BL Touch auto levelling add-on. BUT, even this was unnecessarily complicated by Creality’s terrible lack of instructions. BL Touch is sold without reference to the fact that the circuit board revision number is critical. You only discover that when removing the cover under the machine. So, the latest version (4.2.2) needs a specific model of the BLTouch.Overall verdict? A fascinating, cheap and versatile machine hampered by appalling support and contradictory advice from other users.Recommended with a large helping of patience, research and diligent attention to detail. Our machine now prints really well and is proving a great investment. Be prepared for disappointment and discovery - and the need to invest in add-ons
