Good quality, sturdy, large garden parasol
I was very pleased with the quality and sturdiness of the parasol. It can get very windy where my patio is, so I was relieved when I saw how sturdy the parasol was once it was erected, and fastened to the parasol base. The plastic base is very large, and comes with fixings to securely fasten it to the parasol. It was easy to put together using the instructions provided. We filled the base with water, and despite the weather being extremely windy, the parasol is still secure, and steadfast! The material is thick, and good quality, and the colour is nice. The winding mechanism makes it easy to open the parasol, and it can be tilted if needed. We haven’t had the chance to sit under it yet because the weather has been so poor! All in all, a great performing parasol, which is good value for money.

Provides the cover where you need it
I did quite a lot of searching and looking at reviews before I decided on my purchase. A lot of reviews to all canopy sunshades said they didn't stand up to winds and bad weather. I think this is about putting them away at night and not leaving them up.The canopy comes with a base and fairly random cover, but it does the job. It was quite difficult to get the cover off just now, I had to stand on a chair to get it off. Felt like it was getting caught on something. Unfortunately, when I unpacked it, the cross base that sits under the weights was missing a bolt. I conacted Von haus for a spare part. Unfortunately they don't do spare parts but sent me out another canopy that I was able to take the missing bolt from. They then arranged collection. Their correspondence was fantastic, I always received a quick response and they were always polite and helpful.Due to the shocking non summer weather, it has taken till now to properly test out!Some if the other reviews also said that water leaked out of the four weight bases. I wrapped PTFE tape round the tops before sealing and so far none have leaked.Overall, very happy. Good value as includes the base and cover.

Good Customer service
The sun shade arrived in three separate packages .Unfortunately the bolt that attaches the canopy to the pole was missing on contacting the supplier they authorised a 10 percent discount as a new bolt cannot be sent separately .The discount was actioned very quickly and communicatiom with the vendor was very good hence the 4 star review cant give 5 because of the missing part .We will source a bolt ourselves .The sunshade looks good and sturdy and hopefully when we get the bolt we will be able to complete putting it together
