I'm really pleased with my purchase. It is made from what feels like heavier, durable plastic and looks very elegant despite being plastic.It arrived earlier than stated (after a long wait when out of stock) and was very easy to assemble; all parts screw to each other so no tools are required - it took approx 1 min!I have not used the pegs for securing it to the ground but even on my very windy terrace it feels stable on the tiled floor.I struggled to get a sense of the size before purchase so have included a photo next to a standard sized folding dining chair. It fits really nicely next to my plants and doesn't feel too tall to risk toppling over like I now think some of the alternatives may have.The centre of gravity with water in it still seems quite low, and once the planter is filled I'm double sure it won't be going anywhere. It took about 2L of water comfortable which filled it to a depth of a about 5.5 cm. This is perfect for a bird bath and drinking station but will obviously need regular top ups and cleaning (as is required for bird health anyway) - especially in the warm weather.The planter has drainage holes in it (seen pics) but I am tempted to raise it on rubber 'pot feet' as I have done for my other pots. Although the central floor of the planter is slightly raised from the floor the outer bottom edge of the pedestal is not, so it may not drain freely after leaving the holes. Easily fixed if you choose plants that need watering regularly and free drainage though.Who knows how long it will take for the birds to find it, but it looks pretty whilst I wait anyway.My only complaint? The £10 rise in price after a period of being out of stock during lockdown! Felt like a little bit of a liberty had been taken....

Looks lovely but could of been taller

Very happy with the bird bath, easy to assemble, but just one problem. The instructions said unscrew battery cover, and put AA batteries in. My Husband found it fiddly to unscrew the cover, due to Arthritic fingers . Having got the cover off, we found re chargeable battery in place, so a bit frustrating . Also, we received a tiny cone shaped silver funnel, absolutely no idea where it is supposed to fit ! Having said all this, we think the quality is good, easy to put together, waiting for Sunday lunch time when the Sparrows have a bath . Would recommend .

Easy to set up, place larger stones on the bottom if you live in areas prone to wind for extra protection but already comes with stakes to stick into ground which are useful.Ordering more now.Beautiful garden ornament, thank you! X

No instructions on how to set up the solar light and it doesn't work.As a bird bath, it's functional enough although it's lighter than I expected so not sure how well it will hold up to bad weather.

I bought the Gardenkraft Clam Bird Bath for my newly revamped garden but didn't expect it to look so good, especially for the price.It was delivered within two days of ordering (from Netagon UK via Amazon) and was easy to put together - I was able to assemble it within a couple of minutes. The two ornamental birds were not so easy to put in place, but they went in with a bit of a push (done carefully, so not to break them).The planter base allows flowers to be accommodated but I put stones in there to add stability - mine is located on a hard surface, so I could not use the stabilising pins provided. This base is better than a simple pedestal base, as it allows the bird bath to be weighed down when not used on soft ground.It is made of plastic to look like bronze and it looks amazingly realistic, especially from a distance. It even seems to shine like metal in the sunlight.I was concerned that it might look too short, at only 66cm high, but it seems well-proportioned and looks absolutely fine.So, I would thoroughly recommend this product, although I can't yet comment on how much the birds like it.

Love how it looks from a distance. Like the real deal, but plastic, and a fraction of the price.Only thing I would change, is I might like it to be a little bigger, and also, it would be nice if there was removable or pluggable holes for adding a fountain/water pump.

Ich habe es gerade eben bekommen, es ist wunderschön. Für montieren habe ich nicht mal 1 Minute gebraucht. Es ist wirklich aus leichte Plastik, für Befestigung am Boden sind 3 Hacken vorhanden. Die würde ich nicht benutzen da mir ist es aufgefallen dass dasFuß ein Rohr ist und ich würde ein Holzspieß ,so hoch wie das Fuß ist, in die Erde fest machen und in das Fußrohr stecken. Ich finde es ist sicherer vor starke Windstoß als die Hacken. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und glücklich mit diese Kauf.Es ist wunderschöne Hingucker und ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen.
