Night Shift

I quite liked this book. I loved the fact that how book started with library scene and ended also on library scene. It was so easy to relate with Kendall Holiday beacuse as a bookish girl you do sometimes get scared of reality and what ifs. If this doesn't convince you to read this then wait for the handsome and charming gold retriever kind of boyfriend Vincent Knight. Kendall and Vincent's bond was just so special with their roasting. Inspite of their banter he was so nice to her and always tried to make sure that she is comfortable. He freaking learned 18th century poetry for her damnn (that's not some easy task). I don't like miscommunication trope much but it was done well and at the end I liked it. Their friends were so supportive and really tried to hype up their realtionship from the start. What a book lover can ask for more if the main characters first interaction was in library. Their chemistry was off charts . I laughed a lot couple of times which is a great sign for any good book. I would highly recommend it to anyone for sure.

The main characters were easy to like not to much drama. If you aren’t familiar with book tropes those snippets might be a bit confusing but the love story is good

Annie Crown created such an adorable mix of romance trope humour, endearment, with a little bit of spice…Vincent is this brooding, tall, beautiful basketball player who seeks out support one night from the night shift library clerk Kendal. Kendal is this bookish, brainy, Romantic young woman who shy’s away from social engagements and love the tranquility of the 24hour library at her college.Through a series of mis-communications, which Kendal herself declares is her least favourite romance novel trope, connects then loses connection with Vincent. With the help of a grand gesture, friends, and a bit of a reality check the romance is rekindled and their relationship builds.This one is an adorable read, something I’d recommend when you just need that adorable meet-cute, an adorable fumbly couple, and a good laugh.

I did NOT think this book was going to be as good as it is. It's an utter masterpiece. It make a reader girl feel seen and understood. I am so happy I found this fabulous, hilarious, spicy book.

This has to be one of the best books I have read this year!I don’t know how many first time books I have read but this one tops all of them, the awkward moments were just as good as the spicy moments I wish I could go in blind and read it all over again.So worth the 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect if you’re looking for something light, simple, and quick.I always love a book-loving FMC, especially a romance loving FMC. I will say though, Kendall had a tendency to annoy me now and then. There was a lot of miscommunication brought on by her, but thankfully it was often resolved within a few pages. Her relationship with her roommates was really enjoyable though and I would love to see more of them.I really enjoyed Vincent though! He was such a sweetheart and I loved that he wasn’t a stereotypical jock. I appreciate that unlike Kendall, Vincent was an excellent communicator.
