Big Horn 15151 14 Oz Tiger Titanium Hammer With Curved Hickory Handle

I bought this at my husband's request for the extensive home remodeling we have been doing. It is lightweight, sturdy and has held up through many construction projects we have done so far. He's even dropped it from on top of a ladder multiple times and it has held up great. Would purchase again, but I don't think we'll need to.

I just got this hammer today and have spent the last 30 minutes hammering 16d nails into some scrap wood to compare it to my go-to 20oz steel Estwing, a 16oz Iso Core Fiskars, and a 23oz wooden handle Kobalt. In addition to being the lightest, this hammer hits hardest, sinks nails fastest, is easiest on the grip, and dampens the most vibration out of the bunch. Time will tell how sturdy it ends up being.

Very impressed with the quality been using it for over a weak and absolutely love it.

Good hammer only problem is magnet is weak so when you try set a nail it doesn't hold. Also the handle came off in a month but easily replaceable.

This is my second purchase of this hammer, within one 8 hr day of use handle comes loose of head. Wedge designer obviously lacks any common sense. Its design separates portion of the hickory handle from the rest limiting expansion to seat head properly also degrades the hickory handle itself. Do not buy unless they go back to the simple wedge rather than the cylinder wedge. Bad idea
