it works, but bad scent and price are a turn off
Osmosis RESCUE Epidermal Repair Facial Serum: Osmosis is a premier brand and this serum is supposed to help with irritated skin and repair the skin barrier. The serum is milky and although it absorbed nicely, I felt a film over my skin, which I guess is good as it is locking in the moisture and protecting my skin to help my skin heal itself. This does work, it helped with my blemishes and skin inflammation, so I did use it as an overnight treatment as I really couldn't handle that filmy sensation on my face during the day. This also has an unpleasant fragrance to it as well. I found that this was just way too pricey for what it was doing, as I have tried other products that help with skin issues for way less money.

THE INGREDIENTS! So simple & perfect
Ok, this stuff is amazing. I’m a skincare junkie so I’ve tried many many products on the market - everything from drug store brands to top of the line medical grade products. This definitely sits further at the top. I use retinol consistently but it can leave my skin a little over exfoliated and sensitive. After using this product, my skin is pretty quickly soothed and no longer irritated. It gives a really good glow due to how moisturizing it is. The patented Trioxolane definitely does what it says!! The ingredients include: Water, Ethyl Oleate, Cyclodextrin, Glycerin, Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide. It’s non-toxic, recyclable, cruelty free, vegan and the formula is patented…what more could a girl ask for?!I have been following the instructions to use once it on clean skin once in the morning and once in the evening which feels like a lot but it has been game changing for my complexion. 10/10 worth it!

A Pricey Facial Redness Rescue Product That Smells Odd But It Really Works
This Osmosis brand Epidermal Repair Facial Serum helps soothe and heal red and irritated skin. The consistency is very thin and smooth with a kind of glycerin like feel to it. This product absorbs quickly but you do feel it on your face once it has dried/absorbed. I was a bit surprised by its price point but I have to admit, while subtle it seems to work well on red and inflamed skin. This is a repair product and not something you would slather on all over, and every day. If you need to look your best and your face is your paycheck the price is more than worth it in my opinion. The scent is not particularly pleasant but when you are trying to heal and soothe inflamed skin the last thing you want to do is use a product full of fragrances that could irritate your skin further. Overall I am pleased with this product, it is not a miracle product but it is good and I would order it again.

Unpleasant scent, leaves residue/absorbs too slowly
This one is not a reorder for me. I couldn't tolerate using it on my face long enough to figure out if it was effective. It's a milky serum (see my photo). It absorbs very slowly and leaves a bit of a filmy feeling on my skin. It has a very unpleasant scent that is slow to dissipate. I quickly stopped using it on my face altogether, and then tried to use it just on my neck/décolletage -- in hopes of getting some benefit out of it as it's pricey -- but the scent and film were still too noticeable and unpleasant to apply twice a day.

Unpleasant smell, but helped with redness
I agree the scent of this serum is very off putting but I've been using it about a month and have noticed a difference in the amount of redness on my face. It doesn't feel the most comfortable on and kind of feels like its sitting on top of your skin, but the results I've seen so far are enough to keep me using it until it's gone.

This works as promised!
OSMOSIS Rescue Epidermal REPAIR SERUMThis is a great lightweight serum that you apply morning and night. The serum absorbs quickly and does not leave a greasy feeling. It reduces redness and the appearance of pores and feels very soothing on my delicate skin. There is a strange chemical odor to it but it dissipates quickly. You only use a pea size amount so it makes the 1 oz last a while. If you’ve been unsuccessful with other skincare the price may be worth it to you for a product that works.

odd smell but good for sensitive skin
this is a respected brand and this serum is useful if you have red skin, overly sensitive skin, breakouts, or visibly dry or rough skin and your skin barrier needs to help repair itself. It does have an odd fragrance to it- not that pleasing of a scent.

Unpleasant scent
I appreciate that there are minimal ingredients here, just 6 to be exact: Water, Ethyl Oleate, Cyclodextrin, Glycerin, Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide. No added fragrances. The serum itself is on the thinner side, and is a milky color. However I did not get past the testing I did on the back of my hand because this serum has a truly unpleasant, musty odor that I could not get past. And it lingers. I really tried but after several minutes of just having it on my hand and doing my daily activities, I had to wash it off, it was that unpleasant to me.Also, of the 6 ingredients, only 2 are actually hydrating ingredients and the rest are for balancing pH or adjusting viscosity, so I am personally not seeing a lot of value here. The ethyl oleate is typically used in combination with ethyl linoleate and ethyl linolenate to treat dry skin but those two are not included here. The packaging talks about trioxolane which is a product of ozonating the ethyl oleate, but is itself not an ingredient. All a bit confusing.
