After reading some of the reviews, I was skeptical about this one. Apparently it's the best strainer. I am very happy with it. I have been making juice with fruits after straining it gives me clear juice without the pulp.. And I love that this is perfect.

This is great. It’s a little bigger than I would have imagined, but it’s still great. I could use this for everything that I need to strain and the wooden mallet is great and it feels natural in your hand.

Great strainer. Very sturdy and self standing. Works great with a 2 or 3 gal bucket. It's gonna be great for straining cider!

Strainer works well, although a little small. I don't care for the masher.

It works for me. It is as expected.I've used it for mirror glaze. I needed to use a tooth pick to remove some bubbles but that was expected per instructions in the recipe.It's expensive considering how often I use it. My man used it to filter oil that was used for apple fritters. He said because of the size it was difficult filtering into the small jar. But it worked. I chose this because of reviews and because it said fine filtering. I can't say if the quality will be maintained long term because I've only had it a few months but no rust so far and I don't anticipate a problem. This seems to be good quality. At almost $40. It better be, right? Because of the size it's difficult for me to store it but that's no negative reflection on the product, that's my problem. Am I glad I got it? Definitely. I would recommend it to anyone needing fine filter. I think the cone shape instead of my other strainers is useful and worthwhile.
