11 Plus Vocabulary

Experts - or beginners?
In the very first chapter there is a serious spelling error ("miniscule" instead of the correct "minuscule"). I emailed the company and they couldn't be bothered to reply. So, fellow parents, I ask you: can you trust a company that calls itself "11+ Mastery" and makes a common and b. awful mistake that they cannot be bothered to acknowledge?

Too basic and amateurish
Unfortunately, me and my nine-year-old found this book far too basic, and we found a typo ('work in edgeways' instead of 'word in edgeways' - see image). I'd tell you which page the typo is on, but the book doesn't have any page numbers, despite page numbers being listed in the table of contents. This book clearly hasn't had a proofreader checking for errors, which is pretty inexcusable when it's a book supposedly teaching kids good English. All very amateurish, and definitely not challenging enough for the 11 Plus test.

Awful quality
All the pages kept falling out one by one. Cheaply made and no page numbering to assess the mess of all the pages mixed up.Prefer a refund!!!

The book is thick.
This exercise book is thick and printed clearly, but it is a bit difficult for my 7-year-old son, so I can only wait for him to make it next year.

Great little book.
Really useful little book for revising, refreshing and learning. Each page has a little exercise to do, and while my son got massively fed up with 10 minute tests and the odd practise paper, he never minded doing these! Quite fun, and felt less like work for him I think. His vocabulary is pretty strong anyway, but it was still a good tool to have. It came recommended by his teacher who had used it for her daughter.
