Hardly any channels received and can't tell time
My TV alone scans in 110 channels while this box found 44. Of these 44, only 10 can be watched. The other 34 come on momentarily and look fine, but shut down with a "Bad Signal" message and then won't play. It also scans "Radio Stations" and finds "0". I get radio stations galore on any radio so I'm not sure what that's about. The clock shows the correct time if you view the clock while it's powered on, but when it's off, it displays random times that are way off but never off the same amount. like right now it says 20:59 and it's actually 6:42 pm. Turning the unit back on, it still has the correct time I set it to.

Worked great for a month or so then just quit doing anything.
Received it in good time and was an easy hook up. Worked great from the time I got it to the time it quit. It now just sits there with a TV channel number "12.1" in the LCD shining and sign on the TV "BAD SIGNAL". Have tested the TV cable and it is ok so problem has to be the unit itself. Need to send this one back and have seller replace this one.. As I said before, it worked great until it quit. Hoping it was just a bad connection or something and the next one will last better. Thanks and sorry for the problems.

Functional at an economic price.
Excellent product for the price. Meets all the basic need to convert OTA digital signal to be used with older model TV. OSD (Onscreen display) allows for a variety of setting changes and makes for ease of use. Well worth the price paid.

Major control issues
The media could not be loaded. 1. The remote or devicedosent work properly as shown in the video any selected channel fails. 2. The only way to get to a channel you have to scroll to it.3. The remote has a junky feel worth the buttons.4. The other issue no update avaiable to resolve this issue.

not a TV substitute
After several similar products all suffering from the same goofy software and not-very-well-thought-of user interface, I was hoping this one would rise above the pack. It does show more thought: the face shows the channel, not a code like all the others; the connections are more straightforward. However the software appears to be a minor variation of the others; the remote is very similar; and its operation introduces more quirks yet. Most unacceptable is the complete lack of instructions or possible combinations of button pushing to actually allow time recording, something people did back in 1975 with the Sony betamax! There is no guide allowing selection for future recording as advertised. You have to be there, real time, to select the channel and push rec. then you have to be there to stop it. They offered a refund, but this product is simply not ready for use as advertised.
