Great Gundam Game! Game of the Year!
This game is worth every penny!I would best describe it as - Its a very deep, crunchy, numbers based game at its core.Yes, this is a fun, action based game where you control robot Gundam mechs and destroy other mechs. It looks and plays perfectly on the Nintendo Switch. Its very fun and the controls work very well and the difficulty is not too hard but it can ramp up as you progress through the missions. Also it really has some of the best graphics on the system to be honest. See my screen grab I took in game. There is a story, its very anime so your millage may vary on that. I could take it or leave it to be honest. There is an online portion where you basically team up with other players and destroy robots together. However, this is the key to the game - the core of the game - is the very highly and very deeply immersive customization aspect of the mecha that you control in the game. This is an activity that you can theoretically play this game for a very very very long time.If you are fan of any Gundam universe then I would say that you can simply build and control any of them however the core is that you can also swap their robot parts and you can use robot parts to create your very unique Gundam mecha and you can customize and fuse and create your own parts and assign statistical properties to each of them and you can spend all day, every day, doing this! That's the true game. Also, a previous reviewer on here mistakenly claimed that WFM suits are missing from this game. They are wrong! Witch From Mercury Gundam Ariel and others are in fact, are included, in this game along with Unicorn, Gundam Builders suits, 00', Seed etc. etc. All the Hero Gundams along with main villain suits from every Gundam Series and more (of course, a whole lot more) is included for you to build, customize, swap parts and weapons and paint to your hearts content. Also, the game has other activities you can do.You can save your Customization builds blueprints and freely share them online to the online portion of the game. You can also build your own dioramas with your creations or any Gundam mecha and add buildings and various environment aspects to create you own scenes. You can then use the Photography Mode aspect to take pictures of what you create and freely share them online for people to view online. You do not need a Nintendo Online account to Share your photography and blueprint builds with the world. You only require a Nintendo Online account to play the Online portion which are cooperative missions with other people in the online Lobby mode. The meat of the game (the core game) the customization and the math are very number crunchy but its also very artistic in that you can paint robot parts and customize exactly like the model kits and you can just build and let your imagination do whatever it wants. This game allows you to be very creative. You can do this for a super long time. There is also a special fun Namco aspect to the game. There is a secret level mission where you play a special game 'celebrating one of Namco's Iconic properties'. I wont spoil that. I want you to find out yourself! I loved it.So yeah, that is why this game is worth every cent. There is unlimited things you can do in this game.Game of the Year!

Awesome Game for My Child
In my review, I will be touching on who I bought this for and their challenges. I will then talk about it from the point of view of a parent. Finally, I will talk about the mechanics!A Gift For...:I have a child who has some significant disabilities. One of the things he loves is to see me play a game, and he loves to watch. But you can tell he wants to enjoy them on his own as well.I have struggled to find a game that is more accessible to him. He took to this game like a duck to water!A child with his struggles doesn't understand the how to operate the shop, the assembly, paint and so on. But he grasps the combat mechanics quite well.As a Parent:I bought 2 games for him for the Christmas of 2024 with the hopes that he could have an enjoyable experience. This is his favorite of all time, not just of the two. So that is awesome, and it makes me feel good that he enjoys it so much. There is no messaging inserted into the game, as far as I can tell. It is just a solid enjoyable experience that a kid can have.I am a gamer, will be from cradle to grave. I have even given it a try while he was asleep, and I really enjoyed it. I think it is fun for anyone really.Mechanics:From what I can tell, you gain additional parts to swap out on your Gundam from defeating enemies. You can also purchase kits for certain styles. In the assembly section, you can swap the parts out. It is really cool, and during battle, there are certain special abilities you can use to battle with. You are capable of dual wielding melee and ranged weapons, and they easily swap during battle. You even have boosters to fly up in the air for different maneuvers.5/5, would recommend

Runs great! Looks great!
I'm having a great time with this game. It reminds me of arena fighter games from the gamecube/ps2 era with a fun Phantasy Star Online styled story to keep things interesting. This game has a ton of fun little custimization features and runs very smooth on the Nintendo Switch. I'd reccomend it if you're looking for a more light hearted saturday morning anime/cartoon styled game to pick up and play.

Really Fun Game (Hits that Mecha Itch)
The media could not be loaded. First off, I'm a huge Armored Core fan. I was hoping that LBX would be ported to the Nintendo Switch from its predecessor 3DS, but nothing so far unless you want to play Daemon x Machina (which I don't have....yet 😉). So far, I'm still in the beginning of the game and I'm having a lot of fun with it. This will keep me busy for a long time. Not a purchase I regret 😁.

Great Game! But...
Great Game! But a bit lacking in the number of mobile suits. They could have at the very least made it so that all the series represented had more then 1 or 2 mobile suits from them. I mean, Victory Gundam has all of the main "Victory Type" Gundams, but no Zanscare Empire Mobile Suits. Crossbone Gundam only has 2 (3 with the DLC) Mobile Suits.Speaking of the DLC, it adds a lot of of great Mobile Suits to the game and expands the story too! My only complaint about the DLC is that they really should have thought a little harder when choosing which Mobile Suits they were adding. Example: Why add the TV Versions of the Gundams Sandrock and Deathsycthe, when the Endless Waltz versions were already in the game? They could have added more stuff from Gundam the Witch From Mercury, or even the Gundam Amazing Red Warrior from Build Fighters Try.

Super fun but can get repetitive
The game is super fun letting you play around with all your favorite gundams and customize them in a vast number of ways. It’s fast paced and extremely fun but the gameplay can get repetitive as on standard mode it’s not difficult to get S rank on every mission. But it’s wildly fun for all those that grew up watching the gundam series and want to fight using there favorite units

Great so far! Worth the wait!
Just got it last week and what can I say, pure fun. The story is pretty interesting so far, and the customization is amazing. I recommend this game if you're a gundam fan or even if your not.
