Guys! I went to the dark side in September from blonde, I loved the transition from blonde. However I just really was tired of paying salon price to refresh my hair. I started looking into glossing and demi/semi hair dye. I took a chance on this one in the brown black color. The picture of me in the graphic sweatshirt was the first time I tried this product, the results were amazing. I have purchased two times since. I will say that you have to use the product sparingly and it can be a learning process to cover your whole head in the dye. It fades out very nicely and doesn’t look patchy or faded. The photo where I’m in the hat is how it looks 2 months after dyeing. The last photo was taken today after using the product two days ago. I truly love the way this product is so simple and lasts. I will keep using this as long as I want to stay dark.

I've tried just about every hair color out there, and this one definitely ranks up there! The condition and gloss are great, especially for my VERY processed hair. The color turned out exactly as I'd hoped, and my hair is soft and shiny. I ordered 2 boxes and had to use both. My hair is just at my shoulders, so getting 2 is the way to go if your hair isn't short. The price is GREAT too, especially for the gentleness it has on your hair! Definitely recommend!

I'm on a gray growth journey, but I cannot stand the way it washes me out around my face. Enter this little magic box. I have started using demi-permanents exclusively just to avoid the dreaded growth demarcation line, and to actually grow out my gray. This provides a beautiful punch of color while blurring out my grays, and I love that they still peek through without being so drastic. This color also makes my hair smooth & manageable, extremely soft, and SO SHINY! You could check your reflection in my head, its amazing. This lasts a good 5-6 weeks before gradually fading out, but its so gentle that I don't mind reapplying. 10/10 recommend!

This product is awesome if you have the right expectations! My salon blonde balayage (on light brunette roots) was several months grown out & costs $250. This $5 product was able to even out my overall color and blend the harsh root/highlight contrast at the top. See collage for shades & timestamps.Dark Blonde was a good natural match. I repurchased in Light Golden Brown for a slightly darker/warmer tone and probably prefer the first but both are good. As with other box dyes, individual results vary and you have to be ok with a range of final looks. It did not cause any damage.USE: I tried to do a very thorough job saturating all hair and left it in slightly longer than instructed, for 30 minutes. The bottle surprised me and one was enough to cover my long, medium thickness hair.CONS: It does not cover grays completely and I have a handful but it blended the majority of them. It does not last 28 washes since I had noticeable fading around 8 weeks (washing hair weekly.) However, both are not dealbreakers for me given my intentions of using this product.In my opinion this is worth a try if you’re on a budget! It’s ideal for freshening up/evening out tone and blending grown out color. Plus, it’s low risk since it’s semipermanent. I’ll reuse :)

Blended well with my existing color, and blended away the greys too. Note this color does not cover greys, but makes them less noticeable by tinting them a bit, so for me, they look sorta golden brown. Between this color and Clairol Natural Instincts, which is another demi-permanent hair color I had been using for about a year until I tried a permanent color, this one is much more gentle on my hair and scalp and did a better job blending without lightening my hair. I am not seeing a brassy tone with this color like I did with the other. I will keep buying this item.

My hair turned out darker than I wanted. I had medium brown hair prior to this and wanted a dark brown but this made my hair nearly black. I did a quick search and this developer is a 20 volume developer. It dyes your hair. It is damaging to use any developer. I was under the impression it just deposits color as in no damage. If you have previously lightened your hair this may get darker than you wanted it to. The picture I'm inserting is after washing my hair the second day, and using a clarifying shampoo 3x. It's more dark brown now but it will probably take many washes to get to the shade I wanted.

I'm starting to get some grays, so I started dying my hair using Revlon Colorsilk, which is permanent. I liked the results, but over time, I felt that it was drying my hair too much and also looking dull. Now I use this gloss and my hair looks healthier, softern and shinier. It cover/blends grays quite well. The downside is that it doesn't last much. In winter I wash my head about 2 times a week, that's 14 washes per month. I think I need to apply this once a month or perhaps 6 weeks. Thus, it doesn't last the 28 washes as it claims. But it's still good and I plan to keep using it. Bonus, you don't get that harsh grow effect as you get with permanent dyes. You probably also want to touch up your permament hair color each 4-6 weeks anyway, so I'd rather do it with this gloss that nourshes my hair.

Absolutely love this hair dye. Made my hair feel so soft so silky, smooth, and healthy feeling after I just dyed it. My hair is a pretty nice jet black now with a few areas that you can see the caramel color underneath. I had died my hair black over caramel color. I have a decent amount of hair that goes just barely pass my shoulders, and we just barely had enough dye to use for my whole head of hair.
