The cables feel good with solid connections and straight pins in the connectors. Splitting some 8pins to 6pins in a multi-card rig and don't have any concerns. Using PCI-E is preferred to power risers and cards but do watch your wiring and don't blame hardware if you use/connect it improperly.

I bought these for my mining ring. What I really like about them is the sliding mechanism when converting the 6 pin into a 6+2 pin, making it act like a single piece. This makes it much easier to insert a 6+2 into the proper connector. I will buy these again.

Read carefully, this is a CPU 8 pin to GPU 8 pin. Not GPU to GPU. I made that mistake and fried a GPU. They are not the same wiring even though an 8 pin GPU connector will fit with some finagling.just beware of what you are buying, maybe I'm dumb but I'm sure someone misread it like me.

While a bit more expensive than others, these are high quality and wonderfully braided. If you like braided cables, go for it. They look awesome.

Not sure what situation you'd use these for, but they're not for GPU's. All PSU to graphics card adapters are male to male ends. These are male to female. Configuration makes no sense. Have to return as they're useless to me and honestly, I can tell they aren't any other better quality than anything else you'd buy.

I was planning on using this with a 1660 super/ti mining rig. However, the 6+2 pin side has an extra bit of plastic where the 2 pin connects to the 6 pin. This ends up hitting the GPU PCB on several of my 1660 ti/super cards (MSI Ventus 1660 TIs and Supers and MSI 1660 Gaming X). It technically still works and power the cards. However, it does not seat all the way into the GPU which seems like a potential fire hazard. Other 1660 supers seem to work fine (Asus Dual 1660 super and zotac 1660 super compact).On the power supply side, this works with an EVGA 650 G+.

The package of 2 I received was of generally good quality for the price. Everything was securely fastened, braided sleeves like the photos show.

Assuming your PSU can output sufficient amperage, these splitters work great for mining rigs. I'm splitting one PCI-E line out of a Corsair HX1200 into two RX570s. Working great!
