I cooked fish and rice with no flavor transfer.
The media could not be loaded. I did not know that pot in pot cooking has very specific directions. The first time I tried my vegetables were raw and my shrimp was overcooked. I decided to make the exact recipe she made on the Amazon video. I posted a short video showing that the carrots were slightly hard but my carrots were bigger than the one she cooked. The fish was fantastic. The biggest surprise was that the rice was not only done but it did not taste like fish. I actually used the rice in a vanilla rice pudding! Several reviewers said the pans stick together. I did not have that problem. These pans are well-made. The bottom of the pan does sit down into the lower pan so you do not have access to the full two inches of height. When I first tried using these I had too much water in the instant pot. It flooded into the lower pan so don't add too much water. I also noticed that she adds some liquid to each compartment. I did not do that when I tried the first time. I'm going to keep looking for pot in pot recipes instead of just putting food in and cooking it like it was the only item in the instant pot.

Cooking more than one item at a time
I just love this 3 tier system. I thought of getting the deeper two tier one but decided my food will fit the three tier one and I can cook more food at one time. Plus I love the steamer top. It’s been so hard trying to find dishes that I can put in my old 6 quart Instant Pot. This is a perfect fit with just enough room around the sides if I want to take out with my fingers. One noe of caution. If you use the handle system that comes with it you, be careful how tall the trivet is that you put the dishes on as the handle are tall.

Buy this!
Prior to this purchase, I had been considering getting rid of my instant pot since I just couldn't figure out what to make in it. But I saw this and thought I'd give it one more shot.Let me tell you, these accessories are WORTH IT. Almost every night, I am using this to make dinner for my husband and myself and have plenty for lunch leftovers.I've made chicken and pork chops so far for the meat type of cooking. They've come out perfect every time and so juicy.I've also recommended this to pretty much everyone I talk to - I probably end up sounding quite cult-like.So yeah, if you're looking for an amazing accessory for the instant pot, this is it!!!

Lifesaving 3-Tier Instant Pot Inserts
These 3-tier instant pot inserts are a literal lifesaver. I don’t have a lot of time to cook, so using a pressure cooker is a must. The 3 different pans allow me to warm up 3 different kinds of leftovers at the same time. I also have the ability to cook 3 different dishes at once. Dinner is ready in literally no time at all with almost no effort from the cook! When cooking in these 3-tier pans, there are a few things you should remember. When you heat up leftovers, stick to just that. Do not try to cook anything from scratch, or it will need more time. This will cause the leftovers to burn. If you are cooking a meal from scratch, don’t forget to put enough water in the instant pot. Sometimes just 1 cup doesn’t cut it. Another tip for successful use: do not force food into the pans. If you want to cook more, then purchase this company’s 2-tier pot inserts. After spending time in the pressure cooker, your pans may want to stick together a little bit. However, if you are wearing pot holders you should be able to easily remove the hot lids. If you find yourself having to use a knife, it means you left the inserts in for too long

Great accessory for the InstaPot
This is a perfect accessory for the InstaPot, particularly for the lazy. I'm far from using these pots, or the InstaPot as a whole, to it's full potential, but I've found several good uses for these inner pots. In particular, it makes it easy to cook smaller servings and/or stick leftovers in the fridge without having to clean the larger pot with each use.For example:- Cooking Chicken + Rice together. Put a froze chicken cutlet (+sauce) in the bottom part, rice in the upper with an equal amount of water. Add a cup to the outer pot, cook for 20 minutes, QR for 10, and an easy dinner is served.- As a rice cooker. Cooking small servings of Rice in the outer pot directly is messy and difficult. For the inner pot, just stick equal parts rice+water, a cup of water in the outer pot, then cook for 5 minutes on high and QR for 10.

Quality.
the best compliment I can make; The stack of metal inserts are stainless steel, with no welding on the basket. No lead.Responds well to magnetic fields, acidic environments, rockwell hardness, holding up to a blow torch, and other metrics to determine it is stainless and not pot metal. Always good to know I am not giving my family cadmium poisoning. 10/10.Solid construction that is dimensionally accurate. It fits in the pot.Metal is of a suitably thick gauge, and will not warp with normal use.Lasty, the pans can be thrown with sufficient velocity and accuracy to hit people. The satisfying metallic thunk when impacting another human is worth the price of these alone, that they also are fantastic for cooking up to three meal components at once; what an great extra.

Don't Waste Your Money: Stackable Steamer Insert Pans with Sling is Cheap and Flimsy
I recently purchased the Stackable Steamer Insert Pans with Sling for my 8 Qt Pressure Cooker and unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed with the quality of this product. The metal used for the pans and the holder is cheap and flimsy, and the holder bends easily, causing the pans to shift and shape out of place. This makes it difficult to properly stack and cook multiple items at once, which was the whole reason I purchased this product. I had high hopes for this steamer insert set, but it simply did not live up to its promises. Overall, I cannot recommend this product due to its poor quality and lack of durability.
