This is a great roller! My Achilles tendon often tightens up so much it makes me limp. This roller loosened it right up in just a few minutes! I also tried it on a few tight muscles on my arm, and it loosened them as well.My husband also loves it on the back of his calves.For those negative reviews, if you are getting bruises, you are pushing too hard! Medium pressure works just fine unless your muscles are really really tight. Just start with lighter pressure and increase until you feel it loosening whatever muscle you are working on. Don't use it over bones, it's not meant for that, and softer rollers would not do the job for loosening tight muscles.

I have been suffering from tendonitis in both legs since the beginning of May: calves, hamstrings, and quads. Many days I can barely walk. My massage roller arrived yesterday. I started using it as soon as it was out of the box. My right leg is especially bad. I can feel the knotted muscles with my hand up and down my leg. I used the massage roller gently at first and as soon as my muscles began to relax, I increased the pressure. It was a "Hurt so GOOD" feeling. My abductors were especially sore. It was so easy to use. Rolls as easily as a rolling pin on a flat surface!Switched to the left leg and worked on the same soremuscles there. After a total massage time of about 45 min. I was able to walk without groaning with each step. Most importantly, I could sit in a chair and get up again without grimacing and wincing in pain.I felt as though I had just paid substantial money for a deep muscle massage. I had been so sore and stiff. That was about the only thing that would have eased my excruciating pain. But, for how long!?I have been able to walk all through the house today without using my cane or graduating to a walker.At times, I applied a great deal of pressure to my roller, so much so that I thought I would end up with bruises. That did not happen. Today, when I could feel the incredible soreness and stiffness beginning, I used the massage roller and it eased the pain! This is a fabulous piece of equipment. It did everything the other high reviewers claimed. It was fabulously low priced and I only had to pay for this deep muscle massage once unlike returning to a spa or salon repeatedly. I highly recommend this product to anyone suffering minor pain to debilitating pain.It is sturdy, economical, easy to target most areas of the body, and you can use it alone or have someone use it to give you a gentle or deep body massage. I'd give it 10 stars of I could!

I LOVE THIS ROLLER! Easy to use, it helps breaking solidified liquid as a result of a Lipo, yikes. The price is also pretty decent, the color is vivid and looks great.

I use this for my plantar fasciatis pain and roll my foot back and forth on it. It helps so much I'm sure it's great for the other advertised stuff too, but I haven't tried for that.

1st time user, found this 2 handled roller provides much more pressure where needed then the 1 handed rollers which I find causes more strain on the hand you're using it with. For $8 this is a great product.

This was too large and bumpy for me to use for my calf muscles. Instead of smoothly rolling, it was very bumpy
