Easy to use and install
Used for almost half month, seems ok, see the dirt from the filter already. Will keep using it and see how it goes.

Easy filtration if your tap is suitable
I did have some problems with this filtration system, but haven't let that affect my overall impression of is unfairly, as many people would not face these issues and will find this a very satisfactory product.I have no doubt that the filtration is effective & the product (and filters) of good quality. However, for me, what was an imperceptible weakness in the seal at the base of our tap became an instant geyser after installation of the filter, due to the extra water pressure built up behind the system. This wouldn't be a problem if it was a simple case of repairing the tap before attempting to install it again, but we already have a new tap ready to install that has an extending hose, and I'm not at all convinced that this filter system will be suitable for this kind of tap.On a regular curved, movable mixer tap, the tube that extends from the end of the tap to the filter does get in the way a bit - not helped by the fact that it's not very soft & flexible, so it extends over the sink and can't be tucked out of the way. There's also a lot of slack in the hose, further getting in the way, but which can't be reduced in length if we want to be able to move the tap across both full and half sinks. With an extending hose, I feel this problem will be dramatically increased by having to pull a hose with another, fairly substantial, hose attached into the sink to rinse dishes. Unless I attached it for filling drinks/kettles and uninstalled it for washing up, I don't know how I could make it work for me.If your plumbing/sink arrangement is suitable for this filter, I'd say it's definitely worth having.

Just Not This One
Firstly I need to stress that the product itself is really good, the filter works great and with our water we can taste and see the difference. However, the tap hookup with the tube placement is a big issue for us. It eventually just gets in the way more than it's useful and that's a shame because we actually do want to continue with this product. Our 'issue' with it was mainly the pipe. Having it in the sink all the time meant we couldn't easily clean things like pans, or washout tubes/jars/cans and turned our kitchen sink into mostly a drinking station. The hose connects to the tap and you turn the diverter so it sends the water into the filter and it comes out the drinking spout filtered. A little time consuming but very easy to setup. If you've got the space and don't mind using the diverter it works great. For us, our sink is a right side draining board, with corner unit on the left. We had little space to use it with effectively as is.This was our first venture into filtered water system though and thankfully it worked really well, and it didn't put us off. We've liked it enough that we're looking to buy the inline version and put a 2nd tap on our sink just for the drinking water. If you do have the space and know you have stuff floating in your water, this will clean it up. It's a great product, just be aware that you are going to have a plastic pipe dangling in your sink whilst it's connected.

good quality
I’ve been really impressed with the DOULTON Drinking Water Filter Tap and Biotect Ultra Ceramic Countertop Filter System. It’s incredibly easy to set up, with no plumbing required, and works wonders in improving the taste and quality of my tap water. The filter removes contaminants like chlorine, lead, and bacteria while leaving beneficial minerals intact. It’s compact, portable, and perfect for renters or anyone on the move. Maintenance is simple, and the ceramic filter is durable, lasting up to 6 months.Overall, it’s a reliable, high-quality system that makes drinking water taste fresh and clean!

Very easy installation and the replaceable filters are reasonably priced...
This drinking water filter tap comes in retail packaging and inside you’ll find the main filter tap, abrasive pad, thread size changer fitting, operating instructions, and a fitting guide leaflet. The filter feels well made and the main chassis is made from plastic. It is quite lightweight, and the stainless spout is fixed to the main unit. There is a tube coming from the rear with an attachment on the end which is used to connect to your tap. Installation is simple as you unscrew the tip of your tap to reveal the threads. Screw on the filter’s attachment to the tap and that’s the main installation done. You do need to condition the filter inside though, so you need to run tap water through it for ten minutes and then leave it for 24 hours. You then flush it through again for about 10 minutes and then it’s ready for use. This conditions the filter and prepares it for use.The attachment allows you to use your tap as normal and can be used to flow the water through the filter instead to get a stream of filtered water through the spout. This is done by a lever on the attachment, so it is easy to change the flow of the water. The filtered water tastes fresh, which is hard to describe, but I can tell the difference between straight tap water and the filtered water. The filter is replaceable which it recommends changing every 6 months, but this would depend on how much you use it I would have thought so should last longer with less use. I will taste the difference in the water though which would tell me it’s ready for changing. Replacement filters are £26 currently on Amazon which isn’t too bad in my opinion. This is a good alternative to a fully integrated filtered water tap. It can be installed in minutes and can be quickly taken off the tap if needed. I do find it tends to move on my stainless-steel sink unit as there is no rubber feet on the bottom. This is only if you nudge it as it stays put if you leave it alone but I’m always catching it when doing the dishes or something similar around the sink. Not a big issue but something I have found. I could move it more out of the way though so depends on the final position it is left in. A good filter tap overall if you want a no hassle installation…
