I’ve had excellent results with this formulation of berberine. The HCL formulation tore my bowels up badly, this phytosome berberine has been great. My appetite has gone down. I used to want to eat constantly and I realized today, I don’t think about food all the time anymore.When I eat, I discovered I don’t eat nearly as much I have always ate prior. I take one a day with my first meal of the day. It’s been working.

Its really hard to tell how this is working compared to regular berberine. Its the phytosomes extracted. Dosage and strength are hard to gauge I dont find 1 pill as suggested to be effective. However in taking 2 I find stomach upset to come into play. There is no real info around as to what the correct dosage should be to regulate blood sugar. I have found no studies done by anyone on the phytosomes versions. So its hard to tell on this product. Doctors dont have much info on it either. They prefer to stick to prescribed meds only. Metformin et al. This seems like a well made and bottled product. They only use glass bottles too. But again dosage and effectiveness is very hard to measure.

I used to run a PD and Engineering team for a high end, leading supplement manufacturer. This is much higher quality product than the “value engineered” products we were tasked with producing. Utilizing Indena’s berberine phytosome in this formulation is a big plus.

Very bitter. Feels good on my digestion. Helped tremendously during the time of the month. It does help balance your hormones. I have not noticed any weight loss yet. Used for 1 month so far.

I like that a serving is one capsule. It agrees with me!

I've been consistently taking this for a few months now. Diet is mainly clean, I'm also a female bodybuilder. Took this to help with insulin sensitivity & to balance my hormones(I have PCOS). The first 3 weeks, I felt lighter. I had more bowel movements etc. After that initial "detox" phase, I began to suffer constipation & have noticed no other benefits or improvements towards my health. Not for everyone, I suppose.
