My January 2024 order of ‘LIDATREE Twisty Lollipop Fruit Flavor Rainbow Color, 15 pieces’ arrived with each lollipop individually wrapped in cellophane, all lollipop wrapped up in a long piece of bubble wrap, and everything inside a LIDATREE cardboard box. As a result, all lollipop were unbroken. The Nutrition Facts panel indicates 80 calories per lollipop with sugar being the top ingredient (no surprise there). The ingredients include food dyes which are on the FDA and European Union ‘safe to consume’ lists, but also titanium dioxide which the US FDA approves but the European Union banned in 2022 (per WedMD). The box indicates an Expiration Date of October 15 2025, and the candy is made in Fujian, China.Each lollipop is roughly 3 inches long (6.5 inches including the stick), and 0.5 to 0.75 inches wide. The cellophane wrap is a bit difficult to remove sometimes, but each lollipop is very colorful and tastes like your generic fruit flavored candy - perhaps close to fruit punch. The lollipops we’ve consumed so far have lasted as long as you’d expect with no undesired taste or content issues. The sticks are plastic, not paper, which means they don’t dissolve in your mouth — good for eating, but maybe not as good for the environment. Overall, better than most cheap lollipops we had in the past. At 80 cents per lollipop, these seem to be in the middle of the price range based on a quick search.

Fun candy for a birthday party bag treat.

One was cracked but not a big deal; the manufacturer did a good job of protecting these as I expected more cracks. They're pretty tasty, kinda like those rainbow candy canes. Unwrapping is very frustrating as they are wrapped very tight and the plastic doesn't seem to tear easily, nor is there an obvious point to start peeling it up. I swear it took me like 5 minutes to open the first one. I also did not like the sticks being hollow all the way through like a straw. When you try to suck on the candy, air gets sucked through the stick and it's hard to actually create a suction like you typically would. I ended up plugging the end of the stick with my finger while eating it, which was really awkward. If the manufacturer used a solid stick (or at least plugged the end) and made these easier to unwrap, then I'd recommend them. As they are now, I'd rather just have rainbow candy canes.
