Great chimes. If you don't know Woodstock is the best I've found for chimes. They are quality pieces. You can drop big bucks, but this set is very affordable. I looked at the low reviews to see why. One said it was rusted through which must be a strange aberration. They are rusty for sure, by design. Another said it took too much to get them to chime. This didn't seem to be a problem. I guess it's just relative to what you expect. Compared to other Woodstock chimes I have they are more of a tinkle for sure, but if that's what you want it's plenty nice. Also the finish just looks like rusted metal from any distance. My mother-in-law was very pleased and me too. For a $50 or so gift it's pretty hard to beat. It feels, sounds, and looks very nice. No reservations.

I love this wind chime! It not only looks great, but sounds great as well! We have all of these creatures in our yard so this was a perfect addition to our wind chime collection.

This is a gorgeous windchime and seem well-made. The only problem is that it needs a hurricane-like wind to actually chime. But is pretty, so I recommend it.

The top was completely corroded. Embarrassed when it was opened as a gift and rusted pieces fell out of the box.

I am the wind chime version of a crazy old cat lady (wait...I'm that, too). As I live next to a small farmstead, wind chimes help dull the perpetual noise that comes from them.Well, this is barely a tinkle. In comparison to other Woodstock chimes I have, the heavier Gregorian pieces chime like monks playing their way into Heaven, whereas this is very weak...well, think dainty little Victorian slippers tip-toeing through the garden...and at times tinny. I have moved it around to see if I can get better function, but alas, not much. It takes a really strong breeze to get any sound (and then the sound of the wind is stronger than the chime), plus the two hanging tails get all tangled up.I like the look and the faux finish from a distance (up close it looks pretty cheap), but I didn't get it for looks, I got it for chimes, and it has failed to live up to that.

I've been watching for a wind chime that would best fit my back hard. We have occasional high winds and I needed something that could withstand them. I was recently on vacation and I saw this and thought it could handle the wind best because of it's flatness and only two strings within the piping. Beside I really like the sound of the chimes. Except, where I saw it, it was a bit spendy and I couldn't imagine packing it back on the airplane. So I looked it up and found it on Amazon at half the cost, no shipping charges and it was on my door step in 1 business day. WOW! Now that competition and fast service. I've got it up and it is beautiful, sounds beautiful and may consider it for an idea for future gift giving ideas.

I recieved a windchime for Christmas, it was made by the same company that I ordered this one. I bought this for my step-mom because I was so pleased with the one that I recived for Christmas. This windchime is so detailed and very beautiful,the sounds that it makes are very musical. It was packaged very well, the shipment was free and very fast! Amazon was the cheapest price for this windchime. I love Amazon, this company is efficent on shipping and packaging. It compliments my garden nicely. The chimes are very well constructed and the tone of the chimes is soothing and peaceful. This will be an accent piece in my garden for years. It came well packaged and no assembly was required.
