Dude this thing is freaking awesome! Always get good footage of my airsofting… not sure if it’s waterproof, but great quality footage and super easy to use!

Battery life is fantastic, will pretty much record a full day of riding. The flexible boom is a mixed blessing, you can never recreate the same position and it will move around under G load.I wound up gluing the thing to the top of a helmet and it does pretty well for a budget camera.

Although it is only 1080p at 60fps... this is a really good quality video for helmet cam! And you can't beat the price!!! Now I'm thinking they are "piloting" this product that is why its so affordable and only at 1080p... but once the public response are great..im sure they will come out with the final version of this product that shoots at 4k and will be pricier. Now onto the tip just in case you come across why it is not recording...In the manual it says us a U3 microsd card... but what they forget to mention is that it won't record if the format of the microsd card is on NTFS or ExFat. YOU MUST FORMAT IT AS "FAT32"!!!So if you complain why its not recording and think its a broken one... it is not... you will just have to format the microsd to Fat32. I'm a videographer/photographer and work in IT so I know what I'm talking about lol Hopefully one day Runcam will include that in their instruction or make the alpha version of this helmet cam to be more widely accepted on both exFAT and NTFS formatting.Overall... this product has been the BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK as opposed to GoPro!

App is absolute garbage on iphone. no way to simultaneously see the video output while filming as advertised.

Glass not anzi rated, nor is a protector provided. Used this for airsoft ran great for a while, took a bbs and the glass on the head broke. Would advise RunCam to provided anzi rated glass or a protective cover in the packaging for airsoft and paintball use. But besides that runs great for the price. Audio is terrible. Will use warranty for a repair or replacement.

Great camera if you want to mount it to your helmet. I use it almost ever utile I go airsofting. It has great quality and the mic is okay for what I do. Would recommend getting this.

First, you need to format any SD cards you use with this. (FAT32)Second, you just shouldn’t use the mobile app. Videos constantly freeze, maintain a poor connection, and have terrible quality. The camera’s included ARC mount barely holds on to my helmet. The whole thing weighs maybe a tenth of a pound though, so that’s a plus.In general, I’d only buy it if you’re desperate. There are better non-Amazon options.

I am not sure if that is the default setting, it is certainly not what I would want. total files size for 12 files of different start and stop times (61 minutes) was 8.51 gigs.
