I use a carrot mask, which I love, so was eager to try a carrot-based face cream. This cream does not make you look like an Oompah Loompah, unfortunately, but it does treat your face to some beneficial moisturizing ingredients that make your face feel baby soft. Absorbs quickly and doesn't feel greasy at all. As someone with oily skin, this is important! I'm a fan.

For me, the oddest thing about this facial moisturizing cream is that I found it to work better the longer it sat on my skin. When first applied, I can't say that I was all the impressed. It felt good and definitely moisturized my skin, but a lot of the lines were still evident. After a full day, I then looked at my face again in the mirror and I noticed that most of those lines were gone. That was shocking! Kept looking each time that I passed by a mirror. My face definitely looked much better than it did after application. It took hours to do this, but the lines were diminished and there was even a healthy glow that wasn't there previously. Go figure!The cream itself has a slightly odd consistency. A very light cream that is slightly lumpy. Soft lumps, not like lumps of carrots or anything like that. Kind of how some dairy products can be slightly lumpy at times. This is not a defect with the product at all. It's just the way that it is. Feels light and soothing during application. I did find that it doesn't absorb all that easily, but let it sit and it will soon fully absorb without any sort of caking or pilling. Feels and smells clean. It also leaves my skin feeling very soft and smooth to the touch.Seems as though this would be good for all skin types. Just as good for men as it is for women. Good for all adult age groups. Because this contains carrots, it's probably good for those with oily and problematic skin.A good choice for those on a budget as it sells for the very reasonable price of $9.99 (today's price) for a 2 ounce jar. You don't need to use all that much, so this should last you for some time.

This cream has a thick consistency that applies well to my skin, and leaves it feeling hydrated. I can't speak to the brightening effect, but I never have high hopes with skincare products in that regard. Still, it moisturizes, which is good.The ingredients are: Carrot powder, carrot seed oil, rose hip oil, orange essential oil, ginger essential oil, and (a mysterious) "organic face cream base."I wonder what "organic face cream base" contains.I also wonder if putting carrot powder on my skin will attract dogs and insects.
