Very surprised, nice quality stand….. recommend!
Actually a really nice stand. I installed larger 5/16” bolts and nuts (4 total) on the cross brace as the factory bolts seemed a little light. required a little drilling the holes oversized, but very little. I think factory bolts were 1/4” , the factory holes were oversized for 1/4”, but not quite 5/16”. highly recommended mod imo. lots of metal to do this mod, btw. otherwise, nice paint job, engine bolted right in, no alignment issues. Would buy another.would be nice to see stands for other engines, 331/354/392 hemi’s for example

Speedway Rolling Engine Cradle - OK - Not Perfect
I like having the engine cradle and it will hopefully hold up over time. One of the back mounts was not straight and some of the bolt holes did not align just right. The front supports where that connect to the engine mount should have a metal brace welded in like the rear. The 4 bolts that mount the cross brace to the sides are too small (1/4") and I am not sure how well they will hold up. It could be a little better make with only a little effort. It is a shame that Speedway does not fine tune the cradle for better quality that would set them apart fro others.

Fits a BBC Perfectly
Got this rolling engine cradle for a 1996 454 Chevy. Fits perfectly as long as you assemble it on the engine. Don't build the thing on the garage floor and expect an engine to drop right into it. Put the thing on the engine, all bolts kinda loose. Once you have both sides on the engine, put the cross brace in position. Then just go around and snug everything up ... SHAZAM!! ....all done, fits perfect! The only drawback is, stuff like this is waayyyyy over priced.
