Being a HUGE LAFCO fan and admirer of Sir Candle Man's ever-growing platform, I was very excited to experience this candle. I must say, it did NOT disappoint!Warm, creamy and inviting, it's the perfect every day candle for fall/winter. It burns clean and even and the hot throw is divine, quickly enveloping the atmosphere in a nice cozy hug. I burn it in my home office but this baby creates a vibe in every room in the house!I rarely buy blind but, in this case, I'm glad I did! If you're a vanilla lover, treat yourself to this gorgeous, elevated scent.

This candle is beautifully packaged , would make a wonderful gift for either a man or woman and it is a harmonious blend of woods resins and vanilla that is perfect in its strength- not oppressive or overpowering, but not at all disappointing… it is a perfect for autumn or winter , but it’s something I’d enjoy year round.The collaboration behind the creation of this was very interesting to watch online and it is definitely a purchase I can recommend.

Right out of the box, I couldn’t help but notice that the candle was a bit smaller than expected and the fragrance was not as strong as I anticipated. I thought the fragrance might come out after burning it, but that wasn’t the case. For the price, I expected a stronger scent and throw, as well as a larger votive and volume of wax. The quality of the glass and wax was was appreciated. Overall, I feel that this candle was hyped up too much and was underwhelming.

The fragrance of this candle is very weak. I have come across information that this was a limited edition and only one batch was made a couple of years ago. Disappointed indeed

This candle is luxurious!! The notes of the candle are Guaiacwood, Vanilla & Cumin. It snells wonderful and the packaging is beautiful!

Heart of the Matter is so gorgeous - warm, woodsy, slightly spicy vanilla. It’s not easy to make vanilla smell chic and luxurious in a candle, but Sir Candle Man and Lafco have done it. And the glass vessel looks beautiful with any decor. Absolutely a favorite and will be a go-to for gifts as well - anyone would love to receive this.
