Great-Looking Transition Strip with Strong Hold
This floor transition strip exceeded my expectations. It looks clean and modern, and it adhered perfectly between two different floor types. Installation was fast and the adhesive is strong. Highly recommend for quick home upgrades!

Not as advertised
This came very light brown color. Not gray as advertised. Does not have notched shape, is is flat, very thin and the peal and stick adhesive is not sticky at all, it recommends to use glue that is not included, too flexible, it moves after installation.

Fits well
Two things. The item is wood tone, not wood. Kit is rubber or plastic. Also I used calk as the the self adhesive strip would not hold well

Work great
We took all the carpet out of our house and laid vinyl flooring and ceramic flooring. The transion strip work great ar my daughter room. It is a little short. But has stay flat in place over a year. It is very durable. The look of it could be better as it does look pretty cheap. It was very easy to install.

Worked well. Looks nice
Worked well. Time will tell if it stays in place. I'll update if that's a problem.

Not worth it
the stickiness is not very good at all... had to use an adhesive

A nice fix for uneven thresholds….
Surface prep is important. I cleaned the vinyl plank with alcohol to get a good surface to bond to. I trimmed the carpet edge evenly so no yarn nubbins were present. Carpet is slightly higher that the vinyl. Trimmed the strip to fit with the anvil shears shown in the pic to get a clean line.I placed the strip down and rubbed it down with my palm to gain adhesion. Then carefully put my one heel down it and let my 200# bear down it to seat it and moved it a few inches at a time across the entire width. So far so good. It’s not a high traffic area for us.I’ll try to report back in a year or so.Thought about using some construction adhesive like another reviewer mentioned using on the carpet side… but figured less may be more. Time will tell. The beige cream color worked well for our situation. And the price point is good.
