Needed a food ph tester to check acidity levels of my canning recipes. This one came at a good price with calibration solutions. Worked perfectly. Can't ask for more.

Great tester had to watch a couple of videos to get the feel for it. Tested food that I was canning and it gave me the readings I needed.

I purchased this for one particular use to measure Ph with fermenting honey and garlic. Normally, I would not buy a one-use item but, I knew that this has other uses that I may need it for one day and was more concerned about being able to measure the Ph to ensure my ferment was safe! The directions are very easy to follow, use is very easy as well, and clean up is a breeze. You do need to ensure to follow the directions to keep the pad moist. I appreciate that there is a spare tip included so you are not left with a problem if and/or when it is time to replace.

This product states that it passed the quality check and was calibrated at the factory. However, it comes with the 7.0 and 4.0 solutions. I cleaned the probe with distilled water and dried it with the cloth that was included and when I placed it in the 7.0 solution, it read 6.89, it never reached the 7.0 reading. This is my second device; I returned the other one for this same issue. Unfortunately, I am going to have to return this one too, which is very frustrating since I need one for my DIY projects.

Used for fermenting to test PH and make sure fermented vegetables etc safe. Accurate. Easy to calibrate. Easy to read screen.

This has become a reliable tool for me.

No complaints. Make sure you read all directions and how to properly store it.
