Worth Every Penny
I couldn't be happier with this watch. Looks great on my wrist, and it FEELS good on my wrist too. It's got a nice little weight on, not flimsy feeling or cheap. Been wanting this orange one for quite some time. I think when i can afford it again, I'm going to go with the blue on blue.Let me just say, this watch arrived LIGHTNING FAST. I wasn't expecting it for several days, this watch came just two days later. Shipping time is important to me, so i really appreciated the speedy delivery. For the price, this watch is an absolute steal!

For a sub-$40 watch, the AIMES delivers. It’s not a G-Shock or Garmin
I got my hands on the AIMES Men's Sports Outdoor Watch a couple of weeks ago, and it’s been a reliable companion for my weekend hikes and daily wear. This watch—likely the tactical model with analog-digital dual display—sells for around $30-$40, positioning it as a budget-friendly option for outdoor enthusiasts. The design screams rugged utility: a big 2.1-inch (53-54mm) face, military-inspired dial, and a soft rubber strap that’s comfy even after hours of wear.Out of the gate, it’s packed with features: stopwatch, alarm, LED backlight, calendar (date and week), and 12/24-hour format. Setting it up was straightforward with the manual, though the buttons take a firm press—probably a perk for durability. The 30M (98ft) waterproof rating held up to rain and handwashing, but I wouldn’t risk swimming or hot showers, as the fine print warns against submersion or extreme temps. The backlight is bright enough for nighttime checks, and the luminous hands glow decently after light exposure, though not as long as pricier watches.Performance-wise, it keeps solid time with its quartz movement—haven’t noticed any drift yet. The dual time zone option is handy for tracking home and trail time, and the stopwatch came in clutch for pacing a recent 5-mile loop. Range isn’t a factor here (it’s not a radio or GPS device), but the shockproof claim seems legit—it’s taken a few knocks against rocks without a scratch on the ABS body or glass. There are trade-offs. The digital display is a bit dim in daylight unless you hit the backlight, and the strap’s sizing (6.5-8.8 inches) might pinch smaller wrists or feel loose on larger ones. Build quality feels sturdy for the price, but the plastic case and nickel in the crown (noted by some users) could irritate sensitive skin over time. Battery life’s been fine so far, though it’s too early to judge longevity. For a sub-$40 watch, the AIMES delivers. It’s not a G-Shock or Garmin—it lacks advanced tracking or premium materials—but it nails the basics for hiking, running, or casual outdoor use. I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars: great value and functionality, docked a point for the dim digital screen and minor comfort quirks. If you’re after an affordable, no-nonsense sports watch, this one’s a contender.

Sadly the instructions are virtually useless.
I've purchased my share of digital watches over the years but this one is the most confusing unit I've ever seen and the instructions are incredibly vague on how to set it. I was able to set the time but that's as far as I could get with it. It's a real shame because I love the look of the watch and the price point is great. If I can't find someone smarter than me that can set it up proper I'll be sending it back. What a shame.

Nice look, but quit working 5 months after purchase
Piece of junk. It stopped keeping correct time 5 months after purchase. I could set it, and it would be a couple of hours off by the next day. It's a nice attractive case, but a watch has to keep the correct time. Also, not very easy to program. So if you are shopping for a durable watch, keep looking.
