15oz sving lile a 22oz!!!
Bets hammer i have tested it's a beast. 15oz is perfect if you have a 22 oz they have the same power at impact. I dont see me go to a diffrent model in some years.

Good hammer, finishing a bit weak for the price
I'm not a professional. I bought this to replace a couple of old rusty hammers I've been using the last 20 years or so. I was concerned before purchase that this would be too lightweight, but in actual fact this hammer has a good heft to it, despite having a 15oz head. Maybe it's the solid steel shaft. the handle is slightly longer than other hammers I've owned, perhaps this is normal for the USA. Overall, this feels like a pretty good general purpose hammer - heavy enough for outdoor jobs like ramming fencing nails in, and moderate enough for jobs around the house. Probably a bit hefty for lightweight jobs like picture nails. Get a lighter hammer for that. My only criticism in an otherwise excellent product is the finishing. The blue paint finish, frankly, is pretty poor for such an expensive product. In places, the paint is too think and has 'crinkled' in other places it's too thin and the underlying silvery steel shows through, which would be a pleasant enough effect if it were consistent, but it isn't. Add to that a number of almost impossible to remove stickers, and well, these are not show stoppers for a working product, but I expected better from an expensive high end product - perhaps even to ship in a nice cardboard box, rather than loose, but no such luck. If I were a contractor kicking the hell out of this thing every day, I guess I wouldn't care. They are minor points overall.
