A very beautifuly made Board
What a truly great board this is.It is a beautifully constructed, wooden inlaid board.It is a slightly larger board than I am used to playing on, but this is not a bad thing.It is identified as being a type No5 Competition Board (I don't myself know what this means, but I'm sure the budding Kasperoff's and chess Grand Masters among you will know).The Inlay uses the now common and modern way of identifying the squares, by employing the Alpha Numeric system.To sum up, a beautifully made board, that I hope will give me many hours of pleasure thrashing my opponents and hopefully not too often the other way around!Please Note: There is no mention, that I can find in the description, weather the materials have been sourced from sustainable woodland, so I am unable to common on this point.

Wow 😳 what a fantastic chess board 👌🏼 An inche of official tournament size. Letters and numbers along the edges, as it should be 👍🏼 Excellent. The finish on it overall is first class, board it's self is straight and not bowed👍🏼 It's not mirror finished but that's not an issue as you lift chess pieces, not slide them like when you play checkers/ draughts. So would I recommend this,, YES I would, definitely. Anyway, Hope my review helps all potentially thinking 💭 of buying one of these chess boards. Mike. F 😎
