Worth the hype!
I love, love, love Colour Mill. It’s an absolute staple in my baking kit! You only need the tiniest amount to get a vibrant, true shade. A goes a long way. The colors blend beautifully and give a smooth, even finish every time. As a baker, this brand is my go-to for consistent, high-quality results. Totally worth it!

Beautiful Color
This worked so well on my buttercream, I love the color! It piped well and I didn’t use much so I think this little bottle will go quite a ways.

Waste of $
I usually love Color Mill icing colors but this one was awful. I don’t know if it was old or just how this color is. But it would not mix in to buttercream or fondant all the way. It left little specs of color that seemed like it was dried out bits. I had to throw away a ton of fondant and buttercream that was ruined by this icing color. I wasted the $10 on the color and more $ on the unusable buttercream and fondant.

Bright color
Color worked great, did not take a lot and no funny after taste.

Food Dye
Great product, only needs a few drops and let it sit over some time it will get darker. The taste was fine, as well no change really.

Works Well Enough
Review of Colour Mill Aqua Blend Water-Based Food Coloring, 20 Milliliters White sold by BakeDeco (?). This is the name of the store but the actual name of the company is not listed.Ingredients are listed but nutritional information is not (this wouldn’t fit on a small jar). E171 is titanium dioxide which is used in food colorings to brighten.Smaller jar at only 20 ml but depending upon what one is coloring it usually doesn’t take much. The lid is a typical flip-type with a decently small nozzle that allows adding drops at a time.Since this is a water-based coloring agent one may have problems if coloring something with a higher fat or oil content.Review of Colour Mill Aqua Blend Water-Based Food Coloring, 20 Milliliters Sand sold by BakeDecoThis is sand color so obviously shouldn’t be expected to be overly bright or vibrant. The ingredients are hard to read but what food dye(s) is/are used are not listed.Intended for “drier” uses so may not work as well for buttercream frosting, etc. This may also be the reason for some of the separation that others have reported.Comes in a decent plastic bottle with a flip-top screw-on cap. The bottles are very dark which helps reduce the breakdown from exposure to light. The label color seems to match the intended color outcome.

Not true to color
I don’t know if they mixed up the formulas but this was not baby blue. Using a little bit of the color and a lot of thinning, it does not come out the way it’s supposed to.
